dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,
Considering an adoption plan and choosing the best-suited family will likely be one of the hardest decisions you will ever make, and we understand the happiest day of our lives could be the hardest of yours. We hope that in time the pain will lessen knowing your child, if you choose us, will be raised in a loving, open, and supportive family full of adoring grandparents and furry friends waiting to welcome their newest family member.
We want you to know your child will be forever loved and supported by us. They will be given every opportunity to grow and flourish in life, whether that’s the pursuit of higher education or following their dreams. We will raise your child with the same values we were raised with: compassion, empathy, honesty, strength, and humility.
We look forward to meeting you and discussing the hopes and dreams you have for your child. We promise you we will be present through all of their milestones, challenges, successes, and achievements in life and will never let them forget the sacrifice you made.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We want you to know your child will be forever loved and supported by us. They will be given every opportunity to grow and flourish in life, whether that’s the pursuit of higher education or following their dreams.

About Us

Jake grew up in Wisconsin and attended college at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He currently works in technology and software development. David is originally from Massachusetts, has a degree in architecture from New England Tech, and has worked in architectural and interior design and more recently as a real estate broker in the luxury market. About four years ago, a mutual friend introduced us, and we have been inseparable ever since. We believe destiny brought us together at the exact moment we were supposed to meet. After a perfect first date, we knew we had found our soulmate. We talked about the importance of family, our love of animals, and our passion for the outdoors. These values laid the foundation of our relationship and cemented our bond. We are so grateful for the life we have built, and we are beyond excited for the next chapter!

Our Home & Pets

Our home is in a wonderful family-oriented community within a charming small town with the best schools in the state. We would love nothing more than to raise a child surrounded by the love and the care of this community. We have a wonderful support network of young families in our neighborhood, who have become some of our closest friends and allies through this exciting process. We have three small dogs (Baxter, Scarlett, Benny) and a hedgehog (Peanut)! One day we would love to have a small farm and teach our child to love all of the world’s creatures. We were both raised around animals and strongly believe this taught kindness, patience, and empathy that we have carried into our adult lives.

Our Extended Family

Jake has a large extended family with more than 15 aunts and uncles and even more cousins. Jake’s parents are active and vibrant, and he has been very close to them his entire life. They are very excited to finally be grandparents! Jake’s parents have a vacation home in Florida, which is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. Jake shares a birthday with his father, and we spend each year celebrating together at their home in Wisconsin.
David comes from a large immediate family with two brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. They are excited to meet the newest addition to the family and celebrate holidays together. David’s mom is currently retired and sews for a hobby. She would love nothing more than to create homemade baby clothes and blankets!

What Led Us To Adoption

We both knew we always wanted to be parents someday. Seeing our friends and family with their children and witnessing the joy and fulfillment in their lives reinforced this desire. We are ready for the parenting journey and everything that comes with it: the tears of joy, the sleepless nights, and the pride of molding a child into a thoughtful, caring, and well-rounded human. Even though we have a wonderful life, we know in our hearts the joy of parenting is the one thing missing. People say you don’t know the full meaning of love until you hold your baby in your arms for the first time. We would love nothing more than this unconditional love in our lives.
