Family Type: Gay
State we live in: California

dear expectant mother

We are truly honored that you are considering us as possible parents for your little bundle of joy. We understand this is a significant and life-altering decision, and we want to let you know how grateful we are for you considering us for this opportunity to possibly become parents.

From the moment we met one another, family has always been a top priority in both of our lives, and it always will be. It has always been essential to us both that we play an important role and have a presence in the lives or our nieces, nephews, and godchildren. We both have been labeled the FUNcles of the family by our nieces and nephews, and they know how to pull on our heartstrings as well. We can’t wait for the opportunity to expose our future child to the many cultures, adventures, and amazing places the world has to offer. We will raise our child to see what makes us all so unique and beautiful.

We can only imagine the courage and strength it takes to pursue adoption for your baby. We promise we will love your child with our whole hearts, provide a safe and loving home, and surround them with a loving support system.

We have always wanted to be parents, but we knew this was going to be a little harder for us. We knew adoption would be the best option for us to start our very own modern family.

About Us

We are Jason and Scott. When we first met, we instantly knew we wanted to be together, and we have been inseparable since. One thing we both loved right away about one another was the love of family and the dream to one day start our very own family. Although we come from different cultures, we are very similar and share many of the same interests and values. Some of those interests are experiencing new things, and adventures are a HUGE part of our life. Between the two of us, we have explored over 40 countries, and we cannot wait to continue exploring the world with our future child. Our families are excited about adoption and very supportive as we seek expanding our families with the newest addition.

Our Home & Pets

We purchased our first home soon after we were married. We were looking for a place we could call home and where we could one day start our family. What we love most about our home is that we’ve added personal touches and upgrades that perfectly represent our personalities. We have tons of room indoors and outdoors. The one upgrade to the home we both love and are most proud of is our backyard renovation, which gives us more space to relax and spend time with family, friends, and our pups. Our home is in a quiet and safe suburban neighborhood that is such a close-knit community.

Our Extended Family

Scott comes from a large family of eight brothers and a sister, who all grew up on Guam. He and his siblings are very close and try to get together as often as possible. We always enjoy having everyone come together to cook, eat, hang out, catch up, and celebrate our family traditions.

Jason comes from a family with three brothers and a sister, who all grew up in Ohio. As children, they would take summer trips to California to spend time with their grandparents at their river house, which we would like to continue.

We have a few family traditions we would love to continue that center around celebrating birthdays, significant milestones, and major holidays. We’re a family that loves to go above and beyond during holidays. We dress up every Halloween, celebrate birthdays by traveling somewhere new (Thailand, Hawaii, and Tahiti, to name a few), and go BIG during Christmas with over-the-top decorations, festive wear for the entire family (even the pups), holiday movies, and a holiday feast.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to be parents, but we knew this was going to be a little harder for us. We knew adoption would be the best option for us to start our very own family. After working hard to build a strong foundation in our home, we are now ready to provide a home filled with love and the resources and opportunities we want for our future child. We chose to adopt because we have experienced it firsthand within our own family. Jason’s niece was adopted and has brought so much joy and love to his sister, brother-in-law, and entire family. This is something we desire for our family as well.
