Let us celebrate you as this is not an easy decision. We celebrate you for being strong, compassionate, and selfless. There is so much to learn from you and so much to thank you for, starting with considering us. Our relationship with you is unique. Please know we see you, hear you, and support you just as much as we look forward to supporting and loving a new baby in our home.

For us, the time is right as we stand on solid ground with open hearts with so much love to give.
We cannot wait to introduce our future child to all the possibilities in life and to be there to support them in whichever direction they choose to go. Along the way, know that they will be met with endless amounts of love, hugs, and affirmation they can be whatever they desire to become. We cannot wait to start holiday traditions, learn the ABCs, chaperone school field trips, meet their first crush, and watch them grow into a strong and confident adult who knows their worth.

Endless camping trips, Disney movie nights, baking with Grandma, and fishing with Grandpa are waiting for them. There will never be a moment we do not work to give all we can to raise a child you will be proud of. If you choose us, you will always be celebrated.

About Us

Much of who we are today is a combination of both our lived experiences and the morals and values our parents instilled in us. This is why in our careers, both of us have found ourselves in positions that give back. Jeff is a director of a leadership center at a public university, and Jered is a social welfare worker with the state government. We would not be successful if it were not for our own personal belief that each of us on this earth have something great to achieve and should share our success with others. Whether Jeff is exploring nature and taking pictures or Jered is restoring classic cars, we always find time for our friends and family. From game nights, dinner parties, or camping adventures to just a day on the couch, we often find our days filled with the relationships we have cultivated and nurtured.

Our Home & Pets

Welcome to our home! Please don’t mind Cooper; he is our lovable two-year-old mini-goldendoodle who adores company. You’ll notice three bedrooms, two spacious living rooms we love to spend our time in, and a finished basement for lots of future toys. We are very proud to be in one of the top-ranked school districts in the state, with the elementary walking distance away. Our streets are lively with children playing and families walking and riding bikes. Our local downtown is home to many restaurants, the library, a theater, and community events, such as music in the park and the annual ice carving festival. We’re not far from museums, the zoo, sporting events, and our favorite summertime campground.

Our Extended Family

We both have loving and supportive families. In fact, both of our parents have been married for 30-plus years. Jeff has two sisters, a niece, a nephew, and many cousins. Jeff's parents have a motorhome and travel all over the U.S. Jered has one sibling and a nephew close to home. Jered's parents, while not biological, have been his rock and, more than anything, have shown that family is more than blood. You can find us all together at the kitchen table playing board games, baking around the holidays, and spending time outside near a bonfire.

Family is extremely important to us, making the time we have with each other precious. Both our families have built many memories from summer camping, vacations, and investing in experiences that create lifelong memories. Both of us have extremely close friends, many we consider family, who either have children or are planning to start a family, so there will be no shortage of hugs, laughter, and experiences to be had.

What Led Us To Adoption

The question was never if we would adopt but rather when would be the right time. Jered’s parents are not biological, so we knew from the beginning adoption would be the route we would go because we witnessed firsthand the love and support that is present, regardless of how one’s family is created. Our excitement to adopt is fueled by so many loving and supportive individuals in our lives who have just as much to give to a child as we do. Our journey to become dads is inspired by our upbringing and the love that shaped us. Adoption allows us to fulfill the desire to have the family we always wanted but cannot achieve on our own.
