dear expectant mother

You are courageous. You are inspirational. You are strong beyond what words can describe. Life brings about different choices, and the choice you’re considering can’t be easy. I am enamored by your strength. We all know that pressure makes diamonds, so I applaud you as you shine through these difficult times.

I believe events in life can bring about a few life-altering times. If you choose me and our worlds collide, I will be there every step of the way in any capacity you would like me to be there.

I have gained so much education about children, their mental and physical health, and how they maneuver different trials and tribulations in their lives, during my matriculation to becoming a pediatrician. I am more than sure that I am fully capable of giving the most genuine, nurturing, and encouraging love there is to give to another human. I am ready to impart all the positive communication and supportive skills I’ve learned in interacting with all the various personalities I’ve come across in both my work and personal life. Thank you for considering me and hopefully allowing me to share all I have with your child.

I am enamored by your strength. We all know that pressure makes diamonds, so I applaud you as you shine through these difficult times.

About Me

I am a very social, outgoing, and optimistic person with Southern roots who now lives in the Midwest. I am a people person who loves traveling to new places and making new memories with the ones I love. I’m so thankful to have reached my life goal of becoming a pediatrician, which I truly feel is my life passion and what I was put on this earth to do. I have a very close bond with family and friends who have my best interest in mind and continue to help make me an even better person day by day. I believe life is what you make it, and I try to make a lasting positive impression on everyone I meet. If I can leave at least one positive memory, my goal has been achieved!

My Home

I live in a diverse neighborhood with many people from various backgrounds. It is a fairly small neighborhood with family-owned restaurants and stores. I have a huge backyard that is quite busy during the summer months with pool parties and BBQs while making new memories with the people I hold dear and near to my heart. My home is meant to raise a family to make new memories alongside all the other families who traverse these streets. Weather permitting, you will always see kids from around the area outside playing and enjoying life.

My Extended Family

My immediate family includes my remarried father, stepmother, mother, two brothers, one sister, and my siblings’ children. I travel to Louisiana at least two or three times a year for various family events, including high school graduations, meeting new family members, holidays, etc. Furthermore, my family has made sure to be in attendance at all my major life milestones, including all the graduations it took to get me where I am today.

As the first person in my family to not only graduate from a major college but then matriculate through medical school, I do not take this lightly. My younger family members motivate me to continue to set the standard and know that, regardless of how small the town was that I came from, I can and will always strive for the stars. I have been intentional to not let my upbringing and humble beginnings affect what the future looks like for me and my future family. My family supports me in every facet of my life and will continue to surround my child with all the love there is to give.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have always been fortunate to have success in my professional career. But as life passed by and most of my relatives and close friends began having children, I became even more assured that it was important to move forward in my goal of becoming a father. I have no doubt that I have so much love and many lessons to impart to a child. Being around my biological and “play” nieces and nephews gives me a feeling that exemplifies the innate parental abilities I embody. When I considered all my options for growing my family, surrogacy included, I knew adoption was the path meant for me. So I finally took that monumental leap to turn my dream into a reality.
