dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to thank you for the gift of life you are considering giving and the love and courage you are showing for the young life you are growing. We do not know your situation and circumstances, but we do know you are a brave, selfless, and strong woman.

We have wanted to be parents for a long time. We have been trying for many years through fertility treatments. Through the tears, heartache, and miscarriages, we haven’t given up hope. We continue to hope and pray to become a family of three. God’s journey for us is not natural childbirth. It is to adopt a child from a brave person like you. We are ready to open our hearts, home, and arms to your little one.

Thank you for considering us,
Jessica and Ethan

About Us

We are Ethan and Jessie. We live in a small farm community. We are members of our local Christian church, which we enjoy being a part of; we enjoy volunteering our time in the community projects and other church activities. We love spending time with our family and friends. Our hobbies and interests are working on our farm, playing baseball and going to baseball games, fishing, going on kayak trips, and competing in rodeo. We like to go on multiple family vacations a year and create long-lasting memories. We both enjoy helping people, and this is why we love our careers. Ethan works in agriculture and Jessie in health care as a respiratory therapist. We consider ourselves outgoing and giving, and we have big hearts. We have lots more love to give that we would love to share with a child.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small farm community where everyone is family. Growing up in a small town, you are taught the values of work, faith, responsibility, and family. We have a three-bedroom, ranch-style home with a fenced-in backyard. We are so ready to fill it with a child’s smile and laughter. We have two dogs: Chester, an eight-year-old chocolate Lab, and Oakley, a one-year-old toy Australian shepherd. Our hometown attractions are our beautiful open fields of crops, lakes for fishing, and a huge forest to hike and horseback ride. Even though we are a small town, our park district has many activities, and we have a hometown library.

Our Extended Family

Ethan comes from a big family with two brothers, two sisters, and lots of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Both his parents are retired. He has a lot of family who served in the military, including his dad. His youngest brother is his best friend. Ethan’s family was supportive and active with him in FFA and 4-H. His dad taught him to hunt and fish. His mother taught him how to be caring.

Jessica’s family is fourth generation farmers raising cattle and crops. She has an older brother whom she is very close to. She comes from a large family. Her father is the one who taught her how to ride horses and spent his weekends taking her to her barrel-racing competitions. Her mother was always cheering her on from the sidelines.

Our families are very close and supportive of each other. Growing up in our families, we were taught values, never settled, and to reach for your dreams. It’s okay if you fall, and it doesn’t matter how long it takes to get there; work hard, and anything is possible. Growing up in a small town, we have lots of friends who are like family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been together for eight years and married for three years now. It has been our long-standing dream to love and raise children. We have so much love to give and experiences we are excited to have as a family. After many years of infertility treatments, miscarriages, tears, and prayers, we realized natural childbirth was not in our cards. Adopting a child would be the most amazing gift. We would be forever grateful if chosen and for our dream to come true.
