dear expectant mother

Thank you for considering us as prospective parents of your baby. The decision you are about to make is likely one of the most important decisions of your life (and ours too). We respect and support you in this decision, and while we know the timing for this child coming into the world may not be ideal for you, it is perfect for us.

We have not taken the decision to adopt lightly. After failed pregnancies and years in fertility treatment, we have felt truly heartbroken over not being able to grow our family. We started coming to grips with the fact that having more kids was just not in our future. It was then that we started talking about our purpose in life. We asked ourselves, “Were we put here just to enhance ourselves or each other, or is our purpose in life to have a meaningful and positive impact on others?” We have trusted our faith in each other and in life and know adoption will allow us to bring positivity and joy into the lives of others and ours as well. It is a perfect fit for our family!

We have a loving home and support system that is behind us every step of the way. We will surround this baby with love, support, and a healthy, safe environment. We will raise this child knowing they are loved by one of the most selfless people out there and that your decision to choose us was made with the greatest of confidence and love. We cannot wait to meet you, and we hope you choose us as the family you feel is right for your child.

About Us

We are Jason and Jessica. We met in 2013 at the financial services firm we both worked for at the time. Our first date was a year later, and we have not left each other’s side since. Jason is a financial planner, and Jessica is a sales manager. In 2015 Jason popped the question to not only Jessica but to her ten-year-old daughter, Angelina. They both said yes, and in 2016 we made it official when we tied the knot on the beautiful island of St. Lucia surrounded by our closest friends and family. Shortly thereafter, Jason adopted Angelina. We love spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, bike riding, and going to the beach. We live in a stone farmhouse on a few acres of land. We are environmentally conscious and enjoy growing our own fruits and vegetables in the garden we built last year.

Our Home & Pets

We moved into our home nearly three years ago and chose this area because of the great schools, country living, and close proximity to a large city. We are situated on a small farm with lots of land to explore. While we don’t have any farm animals, we have two dogs, Tucker and Griff, and two cats, Juan Pablo and Rose. They love people, especially kids, and the dogs get plenty of exercise running around the field when it’s nice out. We enjoy spending time with friends and family and are looking forward to this summer around the new pool in our backyard.

Our Extended Family

Family is very important to us, and we spend as much time with them as we can. Jason’s parents have a house at the beach, where many family summer vacations take place. We also have a standing tradition of Sunday dinners every other weekend. Despite physical distance, we are very close with Jason’s brother, his wife, and their three children and were recently promoted by Jason’s sister and her husband to godparents of our newborn niece!

Jessica’s parents, brother, and sister are all local. Her sister lives just up the street with kids Angelina’s age and also a newborn baby. We spend a lot of time with them and get the cousins together as much as possible.

What Led Us To Adoption

Even before we got married, we knew we wanted to give Angelina a sibling and grow our family. We never imagined our journey would include years of infertility, experiencing multiple failed IVF cycles, and pregnancy losses. Earlier this year, we made the decision to stop IVF. We began exploring other options, and after meeting with LifeLong Adoptions, we were immediately filled with hope that our dreams of becoming parents would come true. After our initial discussion, we both looked at each other and said, “Let’s do this!”
