Dear Expectant Mother,

First we want to express our gratitude toward you and your journey so far. We cannot imagine the emotions you may be experiencing, but we see the decisions you are making are courageous and made from love. It would be an honor to support this process with you and your baby.

We want you to know that if you choose us, your child will be welcomed wholeheartedly into our family. We promise your baby will be loved unconditionally and will have a future full of laughter and support. They will grow up in an accepting and loving home while always feeling heard and comforted throughout life. We are excited to welcome your baby into our family and have two fur babies that are excited to play and protect them as they grow.

We appreciate the time you have taken to learn about us and our lives. We have been looking forward to the opportunity to start a family and being given this chance. No matter your decision, we hope your journey is met with respect and gratitude. About Us

We have been enjoying our life together throughout the last 14 years. We met when we were young and in high school and haven’t stopped spending time with each other since. We both value education and have earned our master’s degrees, Jessie’s in special education and Cameron’s in physics. Currently Jessie is a special education teacher, and Cameron has an engineering position at a local tech manufacturer. From going to the movies to game nights with family and friends and attending plays or musicals, we value spending time together and making each other a priority. When we are not spending time together, Jessie enjoys spending her time reading, listening to music, and doting on our dogs, Otis and Dexter. Cameron enjoys outdoor activities, like hiking, camping, and fishing. We both have started taking kayaking trips together and have enjoyed learning a new hobby together.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a diverse and family-oriented neighborhood in Colorado. Our home includes four bedrooms, a finished basement, and a fenced-in yard. We live near several parks we walk our dogs to and would love to one day take our future children. The school district we are a part of values the needs of the whole child. We are within walking distance of the elementary and middle school. We are also near our city recreation center and public library. Living in Colorado gives us the opportunity to do outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, and camping. In our home, we have two additional members, Otis and Dexter. Our dogs are cherished members of our family and go wherever we go.

Our Extended Family

Cameron’s family is particularly close and spends time together as much as they can. His immediate family consists of his parents and brother, whom we make sure to visit several times throughout the year; they also travel to visit us. Cameron is very close to one of his cousins, who is more like a sister, and her husband and five children. We make a point to spend as much time with them and our nieces and nephews as we can when we visit our hometown throughout the year.

Jessie’s immediate family includes her sister, brother, and parents, who live out of state. She is very close to her siblings, and they visit often throughout the year; she visits her parents when she travels to her hometown. While visiting her hometown, she also always makes a point to see her uncle and grandma. Jessie believes family is not only the one you are born into but those considered her chosen family. Her chosen family includes those who have shown support throughout her life and spends time with them often. She is a loving aunt and makes time to dote on her nieces and nephews whenever she can.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption is our journey, and we welcome it with appreciation and love. Over the past five years, we have tried to create a family and have been given opportunities to try through IUI and IVF; however, we knew this was not the path for us. We like to say adoption has chosen us as we have experienced it throughout our lives. Having parents, cousins, friends, and nieces and nephews who have been a part of the adoption process, we have seen and been touched by how rewarding it is. Adoption has truly brought joy to our lives. We are excited to adopt a child that will grow up in a nurturing family since adoption has made such an impact on our hearts.
