dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We cannot begin to imagine what you’re going through while considering such a heroic decision as adoption. We are extremely grateful you are reading our profile and hopefully considering us for your priceless gift. We want nothing more than to be parents but are unable to on our own. Your gift would make our dream come true. We can’t do this without you! The child we are blessed to have join our family would be the center of our world and universe.

While this is an extremely difficult decision, we want you to know your child will be loved, taken care of, and cherished should you choose us. Choosing us means a loving home for your child where the parents are college educated and have a multicultural background, and eight nieces and nephews and grandparents live nearby. In choosing us for your child, you will be choosing a family that loves to read books and travel, ride roller coasters, hang out at the mall, and everything in between.

In our home, your child would have regular routines and guidance and a lot of weekend and summer adventures. You will never have to wonder if your child is hungry, cold, or lacking in comfort. You can rest easy knowing your child will be endlessly loved and cherished. Thank you so much for considering us.

About Us

We enjoy traveling, biking, swimming, and going to the beach. We both have college degrees. Taguhi works in the pharmaceutical industry, and John is a high school history teacher. Both of us have easygoing personalities and enjoy spending time with family. We enjoy sharing household chores, and since getting married, John’s become the cook. We usually go to church every Sunday and plan for the upcoming week during the weekend: what groceries we need, meal planning, and household chores. We enjoy taking weekend getaways. We have dinner every Friday night at Taguhi’s brother’s house with her family, and her mom does the cooking.

Our Home

We live in a beautifully warm town house in the suburbs of a city in the state of Kansas. Our home is a cute two-story built in the 1960s. We’re surrounded by many businesses, including great schools, parks, churches, and the city we live in has great people and families. Our neighborhood is surrounded by many great parks, perfect for families to enjoy while picnicking, bike riding, or going for walks. We live about 15 miles from downtown Kansas City.

Our Extended Family

Taguhi has family members from both sides who reside in California and many relatives who still live in her homeland of Armenia. She has four siblings: two sisters and two brothers. We spend every Friday having dinner at her brother’s house. Having dinner at her brother's house gives her a chance to enjoy a home-cooked meal by her mom, and we get to enjoy time with her family.

John’s family lives in California and Indiana. His mom’s side of the family lives in Indiana. His
dad’s side lives in California, and we see them routinely. We spend Thanksgiving, Easter, and the Fourth of July rotating between our families. They are all excited about our adoption journey.

What Led Us To Adoption

We love each other so much that we want to share our love with a baby. They will be the center of our world! We have tried to conceive, but it seems it might be impossible. We know the path to creating our family is through the miracle of adoption. We are excited to provide a loving home and to shower a baby with tremendous amounts of love.
