We are beyond grateful you are considering us as parents. We cannot, and never will, be able to understand the difficulty that goes into making this decision. We hope to provide you comfort and ease knowing we are truly committed to helping in any way throughout this process. We promise to provide a loving, safe, and supportive home for your child.

As parents, we will provide your child with unconditional love and support and many exciting adventures. Adopting a child has been a dream of ours for years, and as Jonathan is adopted himself, this has been his greatest wish. Our friends and family are all eager to meet our future child. Our parents are beyond supportive and hopeful to have another grandchild to spoil and love. We cannot thank you enough for considering us to fulfill our dream.

This has been a very emotional process for us, and this child would change all of our lives immensely. We want you to be comfortable and confident in knowing you picked the best parents for your child.

About Us

We are Jonathan and David, and we are two nurses who fell in love while working in a level one trauma center. We were married three years ago but have been together for eight. Jonathan is now a nurse manager of two surgery centers, and David is months away from completing his doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia. Jonathan is very charismatic, funny, and an all-around people person. David is quiet and kind and loves to spend time with the people he loves. We both come from a large, close network of family and friends. When we are not working, we love spending time with our families, friends, and dogs as well as traveling and trying out new restaurants of any cuisine.

Our Home & Pets

We recently sold our first home of seven years during the booming market and are currently in a condo while we wait to move into our forever home this summer. We have plenty of space for activities, and our community is filled with children of all ages. We live in a diverse community and enjoy socializing and learning more about our surroundings. The quaint downtown area is within walking distance and has many kid-friendly activities and amazing restaurants. We have two fluffy pups; Tito is a six-year-old cavapoo, and Millie is a four-year-old rescue cockapoo. They are great with kids and love running at the park, playing fetch, and cuddling.

Our Extended Family

We both come from amazing families, and we are very close to both. Together we have four siblings and many cousins, too many to count. We are grateful that both families have been so accepting of our relationship and also of our plan to start a family. Because we have extended family members who have also been adopted, we have others to support us in this process.

One of our favorite traditions takes place during the summer family reunion. We always play team games, such as water balloon toss, potato sack race, cornhole, and many more. We look forward to bringing a child into our home to join in on all the festivities. We believe our friends are also our family, and we are so blessed to have such a strong network of people to support us on this journey.

What Led Us To Adoption

We realize there are many different ways to start a family, but because Jonathan was adopted at six days old, the route of adoption has always been special to us. Because we have personally been through the journey of adoption, we truly understand the sacrifice a birth mother has to make. We also understand adoption is a lifelong process of acceptance, understanding, and love. Since we have been together, it has always been a dream of ours to adopt and start a family of our own. We are currently Guncles to eight energetic nieces and nephews and enjoy spoiling them like they’re our own. However, we are missing the final piece to our family puzzle.
