dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. Even though we don’t know you yet, we think about you every day and the decision you made to bring you here. Thank you for being the brave and selfless woman you are, and thank you for considering us to raise your baby. We want you to know that no matter what level of contact you choose for the future, your baby will grow up knowing what a brave, selfless, courageous woman you are.

If you decide we are the right family for your baby, we want you to know they will be loved unconditionally, not only by us but by two big brothers and the whole village that makes up our family. We will make sure they experience as many different opportunities as we can offer. They will grow up around music, theater, camping, and so much more. Your baby will celebrate their birthdays with a homemade cake and family surrounding them. They will grow up with holidays filled with family, joy, and love. They will have two big brothers to love them, teach them, and protect them.

Thank you again for taking the time to learn about us and our family. If you choose us to love your baby, it would be the greatest gift ever. We look forward to meeting you and continuing this journey together.

Sincerely,
Josh and Erin

Thank you for being the brave and selfless woman you are, and thank you for considering us to raise your baby.

About Us

Hi! We are Josh and Erin. We met during the pandemic, so we were forced to talk via chat for months before we spent time together in person. We believe that strengthened the bond and love we share today. Two years later, we got engaged and married in September 2023. Erin works as a program specialist at the university police department. She also enjoys working with the community theater and serves on the board of directors. She enjoys playing her piano and spending time with her two stepsons playing games, cooking and baking in the kitchen, or just hanging out. Josh is a custodian at the same university. He is currently finishing up his bachelor’s degree in information technology. When he isn’t working or doing homework, he enjoys time with his sons gaming, playing with our dog, or getting outside to play. Together we love camping, going to the theater, and spending time as a family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a university town in the center of Washington State, where Erin was born and raised and a short 45-minute drive to where Josh’s mom, stepdad, and sister currently live. We love having family so close. Because we live in a small university town, we have tons of events that happen year-round, everything from the fair and rodeo in the fall, The Nutcracker in the winter, first Friday art walks, and dachshunds on parade to concerts and theater shows from the university, high school, and community groups. You can find events for almost anyone here. We enjoy getting out to our schools’ playgrounds with our sons and dog, Lilly, to play, ride bikes, or fly kites. Our boys also love cuddling our cat, Pixel.

Our Extended Family

Erin’s mom lives five minutes away in Erin’s childhood home. Her older brother lives two hours away with his wife and two kids. Erin lost her dad six years ago, but she still goes to his family’s reunion every summer. It’s a full weekend of camping with lots of laughter and tons of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Erin's family enjoys celebrating holidays. Birthdays are celebrated with homemade cakes and a special meal. Holidays include dying and hunting Easter eggs, trick-or-treating, Thanksgiving with extended family, and Christmas, which is filled with Santa and home-knit Christmas stockings.

Josh’s mom and stepdad live 45 minutes away, and his sister lives in the same town. We go to visit as often as we can. We spend one week every summer camping in Oregon and enjoy riding ATVs and four-wheelers. It’s one time of year we get far enough away from civilization that there are no electronics, and we just spend time visiting and laughing. Josh's dad lives in Oklahoma, so we don’t get to see him as much as we’d like, but when we do, we make the most of it. Usually fishing is involved with those visits.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have known for a while that we wanted to grow our family. After multiple miscarriages, we have realized pregnancy wasn’t the path we were meant to take. It didn’t take us long to realize adoption was the perfect fit for us and our family. We have so much love in our family, and we can’t wait to welcome a baby into our family to be loved by not only us but two big brothers and a ton of other family.
