We are a caring couple living in Oklahoma. We take pleasure in cooking, exploring, going to sports events, and engaging with the arts, and we cherish love, family, and friendships. Our house is full of laughter, warmth, and affection, and we hope to share it with a child. Our wish to adopt stems from a profound yearning to expand our family and create a loving atmosphere for a child. We believe that all children are entitled to a caring home, and we are dedicated to providing a life rich in opportunities, discovery, and unconditional affection.

We are a relaxed couple who can adjust easily to challenging situations and tackle most matters with empathy and consideration. For over 12 years, Josh has served as a general manager of a hotel and led business and hospitality services at a large university in our state. I am presently working at the same university in an administrative role within the department responsible for the development and execution of capital projects on our campus and elsewhere in the state.
Living in a college town provides exciting events such as football games and parades. Outside of campus activities, we enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as engaging in different home improvement projects. Sports play a significant role in Josh's life, while I find pleasure in painting and decorating.
We truly adore our community and our residence. In our neighborhood, there are just twenty homes, and everyone is familiar with each other. We have more than two acres of land on our property, and there is ample space to explore—we even inherited a classic swing set from the previous owners! The schools in our district are considered some of the best in the area, and since our niece went there, we can verify this. The population of our town is about 50,000 (varies with the arrivals and departures of college students), yet it certainly maintains a small-town, welcoming atmosphere. We own three indoor cats called Javi, Mony, and Sonny. They are all cheerful boys and offer us plenty of amusement.
Josh's close, extended family consists of his mother, father, sister, and niece. They reside a little more than a mile away from us, making it quite easy to spend plenty of time with them. A few of our favorite activities with them include attending concerts/plays, swimming in their pool, going to sports events, or simply having dinner and chatting at home. They have numerous lasting customs that we continue to follow, such as having a unique plate for your birthday meal or enjoying green chili stew, posole, and tamales every Christmas Eve.
Karen's family resides roughly a two-hour drive away, but we ensure we visit them as often as possible. Karen's family members consist of her mother, sister, brother-in-law, and three nieces. She has a brother and sister-in-law residing in Chicago, so we don't get the chance to visit them frequently. We love going to her sister's place, especially in the summer to enjoy their fantastic swimming pool! Welcoming them each Christmas evening also brings us great joy. We are fortunate to visit our cousins, aunts, and uncles several times annually, typically during a holiday.
We have a deep wish to create a loving, supportive environment for a child. After several years of trying, we have not succeeded in conceiving a child together. Understanding that there must be a purpose behind this, we began to reflect and are now dedicated to adoption. We are confident that we can offer a nurturing and secure environment for a child who is in need of it. We firmly believe that adding a little one would make our family complete.
