Josh & Timothe

Family Type: Gay Couple
State We live in: California

dear expectant mother

Growing up as an adopted child, Josh was constantly grateful for his mother’s decision to give him the best life possible. He understands it was a difficult choice, and it took an immense amount of bravery on her part.

Women today still face countless challenges on how to maintain independence over their bodies, build a career, become a caregiver to a loved one, or raise their own family. We believe choosing adoption is a selfless act of love and a gift to the child. It is not abandonment but a deliberate choice to provide a brighter future.

If we are blessed to become parents through adoption, we will cherish and honor that responsibility with the utmost care and sensitivity toward the child's well-being. Our goal is to offer a life filled with love, opportunities, and the chance to reach their fullest potential, just as Josh was given. We want nothing more than to be parents; we have so much love to share. We thank you wholeheartedly for considering us.

If we are blessed to become parents through adoption, we will cherish and honor that responsibility with the utmost care and sensitivity toward the child's well-being.

About Us

We’ve been creating memories together for over 20 years. Timothe hails from France and works as a geographer, while Josh was raised in Texas and is an architect. Together, we embody a love for adventure and a thirst for new experiences. We enjoy traveling to exotic locations, socializing with friends, immersing ourselves in nature, and spending quality time with our rescue dog, Pancho. Throughout our lives together, we have taken baby steps toward greater stability and happiness, always with a spirit of adventure and inquisitiveness. We believe diversity enriches the world for everyone, and this belief drives us to seek out new experiences and perspectives. We are a fun-loving couple that enjoys a simple life while welcoming each day as a new opportunity to create memories together. Our lives feel complete, and that is why we want nothing more than to share that security with our future child.

Our Home & Pets

We are blessed to call a three-bedroom home in California our own. Our neighborhood is surrounded by the beauty of nature, with a huge park just blocks away from our doorstep. The park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, and soccer fields. Our furry friend, Pancho, loves taking walks in the neighborhood and park, soaking up all the sights and smells. Our neighbors are kind and friendly, looking out for each other and creating a close-knit community. Living here provides us with an abundance of cultural experiences, diversity, outdoor activities, and academic excellence. From visiting world-class museums to exploring diverse neighborhoods, there is never a dull moment in this vibrant city.

Our Extended Family

We want to convey to our potential birth mother that our family is blended, comprised of individuals we cherish and adore, such as my father, sister, her partner, and Timo's mother, who resides in France. Despite being relatively small, we are a caring and supportive group that loves one another. While our extended families are large, we seldom interact due to distance and disinterest. Moreover, our social circle consists of friends with whom we bond over experiences and forge lasting memories. Our family is multicultural and diverse, with my sister's African American spouse, my Vietnamese heritage (albeit American), and Timo's French background. We aspire to raise our child in such a varied environment. Though we are not without our flaws, we are a kind, loving group and believe that we are capable of providing the best upbringing for a child. We acknowledge that there is no perfect family, and we encourage our birth mother to evaluate us based on our values, ethics, and principles.

What Led Us To Adoption

Josh has a unique story. He was adopted from Vietnam into his family when he was just six months old. His American parents already had two biological children and desired to add a third child to the mix. Despite not sharing the same ethnic background, he never felt like an outsider in his family. His parents’ love and acceptance made all the difference, and he always felt cherished. Josh’s personal journey has instilled in him a deep sense of gratitude for being a part of such a loving family, regardless of differences in heritage. As a couple, our shared experiences draw us closer to wanting to start a family and share all the opportunities we had with our future child.
