dear expectant mother

I am truly amazed at how strong you are! I admire your strength in considering an adoption plan. It is a woman like you who continues to give me strength and hope going forward in this adoption journey. My niece and nephews who have been adopted mean the world to me! I feel so fortunate to have already experienced firsthand how natural it is to love a child brought into our lives through the adoption process. It’s amazing how beautiful and strong these relationships can be.

Nothing is more important to me than making my child happy. If I am given the opportunity to raise your child, I will promise them a life of unconditional love, opportunities for education, and support in whatever they want to pursue! I also want to travel with my child so they can experience the different seasons, customs, and cultures while also allowing an opportunity for fun. I have an amazing and close support system of family and friends who will add so much love and joy as well. I look forward to bringing them home to our family farm; I’ve never met a child who doesn’t like a tractor ride!

Whatever your decision may be, I know you will give careful and thoughtful consideration while choosing the best path for you and your precious baby. If you decide to allow me to raise your child, I can promise to love unconditionally, to nurture, guide, encourage, and provide a safe and loving home.

With love,
Julie

About Me

The most important thing about me is that I have the biggest heart! I am the youngest of three children and grew up in a small town on a farm. Our tight-knit community helped to instill values I still practice today. Those qualities include appreciating the need to work together, doing things to the best of my ability, and following through with obligations. I currently enjoy working for a large agricultural company in supply management with many opportunities to learn and grow. I have a great work–life balance, allowing me to keep a flexible work schedule. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and love to travel to experience new places and cultures. I also enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants, listening to music, watching sports, being outside, and volunteering at work or community events.

My Home

I live in a major southern city, just outside of the downtown area. There is always something to do, such as going to music or sporting events, museums, festivals, and various outdoor activities and parks. My neighborhood is very family-oriented, and people are always outside going for walks or visiting the playground, the dog park, or the community pool. We also have a social committee that puts on various events throughout the year, especially around the holidays!

My Extended Family

My immediate family consists of my father, mother, brother, and sister. My brother and sister both have two children, and we spend as much time together as we can. They mean the world to me, and we are each other’s support system in all aspects of life. Some of my greatest memories are from our summer vacations; we still get together to go on a trip each year.

I also have a very large, outgoing, and energetic extended family. When we all get together, there is always laughter, great food to share, stories to tell, and games to play. We meet for birthdays, holidays, weddings, and other events. For the past 40 years, my extended family has gotten together every year for a family reunion at a campground in Indiana. Spending the weekend together really makes me appreciate all the additions to our family and watching the generations grow and change.

My family and friends consist of different races, beliefs, and backgrounds. I truly enjoy experiencing the many culinary dishes and traditions we share with each other! They cannot wait to have another family member to make amazing memories with!

What Led Me To Adoption

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a mother. About 15 years ago, I found out I could not have children. I was devastated, but the determination to become a mother remained. I have seen great things come out of adoption. My sister has adopted two beautiful children, and they have added so much love and joy to my life. I have been fortunate to go through the journey again with my best friend, who adopted two boys. Caring for them and being a part of their lives has solidified my decision to move forward with the adoption process for myself. Right now feels like the perfect time to start this exciting journey and share my love with a child!
