Justina & Ana

Family Type: Lesbian Couple
State we live in: California

dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and for considering us as prospective parents for your baby. We understand this may be a very difficult time for you and greatly respect the decision you are making on behalf of your child. We want to share a little bit about our family and how we plan to build a great life for our baby.

When we met over 11 years ago, we knew we had found our other half. Our relationship is built on unconditional love, open communication, trust, spirituality, and a lot of fun. Over the years, we have built a life together we adore. We know the final missing puzzle piece in our lives is the baby we will raise.

If you choose us, we promise we will raise your baby to feel loved, accepted, and fully supported. We will ensure your child has a great education and that they get to explore all of their interests. They will also learn to have good values: to help those less fortunate, to respect others, and to protect nature. They will also have a childhood full of joy and fun, from doing puzzles and watching Disney movies to going hiking and swimming in the ocean on weekends, hanging out with their cousins, and learning about the world while visiting family in Mexico and Europe.

Thank you again. We look forward to getting to know you and possibly partnering with you on this journey.

About Us

Family, nature, and being connected to our community influence every part of our lives. On a typical Saturday, you will find us gardening in the backyard, taking our dog Mali for a long walk, spending the afternoon at the park or beach with our extended family, or playing board games. When we first started dating in 2009, it was that common set of values and interests that drew us together. In the years since, Ana has completed her Ph.D. in economics and now runs her own small business, and Justina got a Master in Business Administration and works as a director in a large healthcare organization. We have also built a loving home that incorporates our diverse mix of cultures as Ana is originally from Mexico and Justina grew up in Wisconsin with parents who emigrated from Hungary.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom house, which is truly a home to us and our dog, Mali. We go on many adventures with her. She is very chill and gets along really well with our two nieces. She also loves to hang out with us in our backyard. We love our garden, where we grow tomatoes, apples and oranges. Our neighborhood has many trees and is very diverse and welcoming.

Our Extended Family

A big part of the connection we have as a couple is based on being raised in close-knit families with lots of love. Creating that same type of relationship in our own home has always been very important to us.

We are close to both sides of our extended family. We are very fortunate that Ana’s brother and his family live very close to us, so we get to spend lots of time with our two nieces. Many weekends are spent together having barbecues or backyard hangouts. We also travel frequently to see both sets of our parents and Justina’s brother and his wife. Every week we also do Zoom calls with our families and even do virtual game nights once a month.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have talked about having a child together for many years. From the start, we knew adoption was the right way for us to build our family. We strongly believe it’s the loyalty, love, and care you give that really create a family bond. We have seen this with Justina’s stepfather, whom we both are very close to. We are now at a place where we are financially secure and both of our careers are very stable, so we hope to grow our family and provide a loving and nurturing home for a child to flourish in.
