We will spend hours playing outside, laugh at silly jokes and travel to new places. We will spend time with our extended family playing games, going on vacations, and making new traditions together. Your baby will always be surrounded by love and kindness.

When we had our first date, there was an instant connection over laughter. We love to be silly and tell “Dad” jokes. Stephen is an engineering manager, and Katie is a stay-at-home mom. Together we have one biological four-year-old daughter. She is full of energy and always wants to play outside. As soon as Stephen comes home from work, our daughter wants to run, jump and play with Daddy!
Stephen likes to play basketball in the driveway and be outside to do yard work. He loves to watch football and invite friends and family to attend games. Katie likes cooking and trying new recipes, embroidery, and making crafts. Katie also started a garden and plans to grow corn, cucumbers, green beans, and zucchini. Your child will have many opportunities to be outside and “play” in the dirt!
We live in a three bedroom, two bathroom brick ranch home with a large backyard. We often see hawks, deer and rabbits right outside our porch. It’s quiet and peaceful with plenty of room to run around and play outside. We often play beanbag toss, kickball, and tag with family and friends. Our home is only minutes away from cities with plenty of restaurants, shopping and family activities; including an annual fall festival that we enjoy attending. We have one cat named “Poops”! Poops likes to play and he loves to snuggle in laps.
Stephen has three sisters who love to get together to celebrate birthdays and holidays. They live minutes away so we see each other often. He has several nieces and nephews who always laugh at his corny jokes. Stephen’s family loves to play games to get the whole family involved such as charades and escape rooms. Everyone is usually laughing so hard that the games take hours to play!
Katie has two brothers who only live a few hours away. Both of her parents come from large families so your child will have many aunts, uncles and cousins to spend time with. Katie’s family enjoys getting together for holidays and having potluck dinners where everyone loves to share recipes.
Every year our family takes a trip to the beach. We build sandcastles, ride waves, collect seashells and stay up late playing games. We would love to share this tradition with your child to create fun memories together.
After our daughter was born, we tried for several years to have another biological child. Unfortunately, we were met with infertility issues. We are overjoyed at the possibility of adopting a child and growing our family. We have been reassured with the support and love from our family and friends that adoption is the right path for us. We know we have more love to share and adopting a child would be a blessing that would fill our hearts.
