Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to start off by saying thank you for considering adoption and considering us to raise your baby. We truly cannot understand this selfless journey you have embarked on. We promise, if you choose us, to surround your baby with love, laughter, happiness, and safety. We promise to help them learn and grow to their fullest potential. We promise to teach your baby how to read a book, how to ride a bike, how to bake cookies, and how to love animals. Your baby will be enveloped with love and surrounded by lots of family.

We are located in Alabama where it is very hot in the summer and chilly in the winter. We promise your baby will have lots of adventures. From the beaches of Alabama to the mountains of Tennessee and even the oceans on a cruise, your baby will see and learn lots of things about our beautiful world. We visit museums, farms, aquariums, and everything in between, and we cannot wait to have your baby experience these things with us.

About Us

Katie is a social worker in a nursing home, and William “Hunter” is a front desk clerk and bar manager at a local hotel. We are a very laid-back couple who both love to laugh. We met in 2013 on the first day of college at a pancake breakfast. We knew instantly we had a connection. We got married in 2017 in a beautiful, rustic barn. Anyone who knows us always calls us perfectly made for one another. We laugh constantly and enjoy doing everything together. We love to stay in and watch movies or go to the local park and enjoy the day. One of our favorite local spots is a shaved ice stand, and we enjoy going there together. We also enjoy traveling as much as we can. We love everything Disney. We are both very family oriented and share the same desires and goals for our family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a very small country town in Alabama in a newly remodeled three-bedroom and two-bathroom house. The backyard is fenced in and has seating on the deck. Our neighborhood is family oriented, and we live two streets away from the elementary and high schools. We enjoy going to the park and nature trail, which is a ten-minute drive from our home. We have a fully furnished room dedicated to being your baby’s nursery. It is located right beside our bedroom and has a large closet. We have three small dogs and one cat. Our animals are inside pets and love to cuddle. They are used to being around children because we have six nieces and nephews.

Our Extended Family

Family is very important to us. Both of our families live in the area and are only about ten minutes away. We spend a lot of time around family, whether it's playing games or cooking meals together. We visit Katie’s family every Thursday night for family dinner. We have plenty of aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, nieces and nephews, and siblings. There is always some sort of party or event to attend and have fun at!

We also gather on every holiday. Our favorite holiday tradition is putting up the Christmas tree and drinking hot chocolate. Some other traditions we have include going to the pumpkin patch each year and visiting a local alpaca farm on their open house day. We are excited to be able to include your baby in our traditions each year. We split our time equally between Katie’s family and William’s family on every holiday. Both of our families are eager to welcome your baby as part of our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we met, we both expressed the desire to one day adopt, even if we had biological children. Ever since Katie was young, she expressed to her family that she wanted to adopt a baby one day in her life. William expressed wanting to become a father since he had no father figure. To us, becoming parents is something we cannot wait to experience. We have been battling infertility and the obstacles that come along with it. Welcoming your baby into our hearts is the most important thing for us at this time in our lives. We want you to know your baby will be loved unconditionally no matter what.
