dear expectant mother

As we attempt to write this letter, we realize there are not enough words to describe our heartfelt gratitude to you for considering us to raise your baby. Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about us. We understand this is a very emotional and difficult time for you, and we admire the strength it takes to make an adoption plan. We have wished to become parents for years and are excited and a little nervous to fulfill those wishes through adoption.

We can assure you we are ready and able to provide your baby a safe, stable home with emotional and financial support, but most importantly, we are beyond ready to give your baby the unconditional love we will have for them. We often talk about our dreams of everything from Christmas mornings with your baby unwrapping presents to proms and graduation and everything in between.

We know we will have a lot to learn when we become parents, but we are even looking forward to the trying and difficult times of parenthood. In our marriage, we do a nice job of balancing each other out, and we will work to carry that balance into parenthood. We guarantee you this: Our home will be filled with lots of love and laughter. We sincerely appreciate you and will support you in any way we can. Thank you!

After trying to get pregnant for the last few years, we have come to realize the best path to help us reach our dream of becoming parents is through adoption.

About Us

After being introduced six years ago, we were married two years later on a beach in Florida in front of our family and our closest friends. Since then, we have been building our life together. We are truly best friends who can count on one another no matter what. With love, communication, trust, and dedication to each other, we have created a strong marriage. Both of us were born and raised in Ohio and attended college there as well. David works in the automotive industry and is currently a plant director for a major international parts supplier. Kimberly knew from a young age she wanted to work with kids, and she has taught eighth grade American history for the past several years and just switched this school year to teach high school juniors.

Our Home & Pets

We have a large backyard with plenty of space to play and plans for a playset in the future. The neighborhood is full of kids and has a bike path directly across from the subdivision where we take walks and go on bike rides. There are also two common green areas in the neighborhood, which are used for games and fun activities. A playground and park are within walking distance, and the schools in the area are excellent and will provide your child with a great education that will help prepare them for life beyond high school. Our family consists of us and our golden retriever, Rascal. He currently enjoys the role of the only “child,” but we know he will make a very loving and protective older brother.

Our Extended Family

David’s family all live within thirty minutes of our home. He has four siblings, and David is known as the fun uncle; all the kids run to him whenever we get together. The entire family comes over to our home to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. One of David’s favorite traditions is the big outside Easter egg hunt everyone, young and old, participates in. With over thirty family members, there is always something to celebrate, and we can’t wait to share these celebrations with your baby.

Kimberly’s mom and dad live within twenty minutes of us and are already volunteering to babysit. We may have to flip a coin to see which set of grandparents will get to babysit first since David’s parents are eager as well. Kimberly is very close with her parents and older brother, sister-in-law, and niece and nephew. She is also close to her extended family, and they all get together for big holiday celebrations as well as other times throughout the year. She can’t wait to share her family’s Christmas Eve traditions with the baby.

We both are extremely close with our families, and both families are beyond excited about the adoption and the prospect of bringing your baby into the family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We knew from the beginning of our relationship we both wanted to one day be parents, so we have spent these first years together building a strong foundation. After trying to get pregnant for some time, we have come to realize the best path to help us reach our dream of becoming parents is through adoption. We have had the privilege of watching our friends complete their beautiful family through adoption, and we can only hope for the same result. We are excited for our adoption story to unfold and to be able to adopt a baby soon.
