dear expectant mother

Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us as you consider an adoption plan for your child. We are a fun-loving, energetic, compassionate, and loving couple who would be blessed to be considered as the adoptive parents of your child. We will grow with your child in love and nurture them. We understand the decision you are making may be one that is extremely difficult, and we are here to assure you that your child would be loved unconditionally and given a life full of promise as a part of our family. Expanding our family has always been a dream of ours, and with your careful consideration, that could become a reality.

We and our two sons live in a small, quiet town in a wonderful community with highly rated schools. As a part of our family, a child will be given many opportunities to live a fulfilling life. Our children are excited about the prospect of having a sibling, and our sweet family dog, Madison, is excited as well! In our free time, we enjoy family vacations, skiing, attending sporting events and comedy shows, and hosting gatherings for our family and friends. Most of all, we enjoy the simple things life has to offer: Uno games, making s’mores around the firepit, or cuddling in bed watching movies. We are excited to open our hearts to another child and love them with every fiber of our being as the special and unique person they are.

We are a fun-loving, energetic, compassionate, and loving couple who would be blessed to be considered as the adoptive parents of your child.

About Us

“Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.” ~ Lisa Weed

Family means everything to us. Our various childhood experiences have come together in a positive way to provide the best experiences for our children. Our connections to our pasts have made us into the parents we are today. Kristen’s humble beginnings, combined with a supportive family, have allowed her to appreciate her life journey and have led her to inspire her children to be successful, productive members of society. Greg was raised with many resources, including a top-level education and the ability to travel and explore music and arts. These values are what we strive for as we build our own special family.

Our Home & Pets

We currently live in a beautiful five-bedroom, six-bathroom home on a quiet cul-de-sac in a small, rural town. Our home is a joy for us and is a meaningful place to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and everyday events. There are families in the neighborhood with children who run over and play with our sons. We are located close to both sides of our family and are able to see them frequently for Sunday dinners and family gatherings. The school district is top notch, with small classroom sizes, individualized attention and instruction, and wonderful teachers and administrators. We have a family dog named Madison, who is just the sweetest; she is so gentle and good with children and the perfect family pet.

Our Extended Family

Greg is one of four brothers who are all married with multiple children ranging from ages 4-12 years old. Greg’s parents are two of the most generous, loving people. They are located twenty minutes from us in a gorgeous beachfront home and love to host holidays or just-for-fun celebrations!

Kristen’s family consists of her parents and two older siblings. Growing up, she always thought of her brother, who is ten years older, as her hero. Spending time with her siblings, just the three of them, is something she looks back on fondly as an adult and parent. She and her sister grew very close when she was a teeanger and have been that way ever since. Her brother and sister have multiple children ranging in ages from 16-20 years.

The families enjoy coming over for gatherings where all the kids, despite their age differences, will play together and the adults can catch up! We treasure this time together.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of having a large family, but after Kristen’s first pregnancy proved to be unexpectedly difficult, our doctor recommended she not get pregnant again. Our second child, a boy, was born using a donor egg and surrogate. Despite our success with surrogacy the first time, we experienced two failed attempts last year and decided we would revisit the adoption path that has always held a special place in our hearts. We have chosen to adopt because we are most excited to expand our family and care for, love unconditionally, and guide through life another special child. Adoption feels like a natural next step for us and our family. We are also lucky to have friends who have adopted children, and we have seen the beauty of a family expanded in this way!
