dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Parent,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We wholeheartedly admire your compassion for your child and your mighty courage to consider adoption. We cannot even begin to imagine the feelings you’re experiencing during this time. We want to thank you for choosing life for your child, and we appreciate you taking the time to consider our family.

We know, like you do, that life doesn’t always go as planned. We hope you are eventually able to feel peace with your decision knowing you chose a home in which your child would live in a supportive, stable, loving, joy-filled home. We also hope that as you make this heavy decision, you can be proud of the choices you are making. We look forward to potentially being a support system to you and a part of your story.

Our hearts are full of love toward our potential birth parents. It would be a pleasure to meet with you to let you know how much you mean to us. We have been praying for you for years. We want you to know how incredibly special you are as an expectant parent and as an individual. We also want to promise and guarantee you we will give your baby the best possible life. We will share all of our holiday traditions, give your child the opportunity to travel and see the world, and always give your child the best possible education, values, and homelife.

With all of our love,
Kristen and Jacob

We want to promise and guarantee, should you choose us, we will give your baby the best possible life. We will share all of our holiday traditions, give your child the opportunity to travel and see the world, and always give your child the best possible education, values, and homelife.

About Us

Hello, we are Kristen and Jacob. Jacob is an Army veteran and works as an elevator mechanic. Kristen is a homemaker. We love traveling and creating new memories together. We try to visit somewhere new every year. We both like to cook as well as try new restaurants out. We have weekly movie nights in our favorite pj’s with our favorite snacks and watch a new movie together. We like to get into nature by taking our RZR out trail riding with friends and family. We also enjoy apple/berry picking, visiting sunflower fields, finding waterfalls, and picking our own pumpkins out of the pumpkin patch at our local orchard every year. We are absolute best friends and enjoy doing everything together! We have been together over seven years now. Our relationship continues to grow stronger every day, and we very much look forward to what lies ahead for us!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a nice subdivision in Kentucky. Our neighborhood is full of children. In the summer, we have neighborhood barbeques and block parties. There’s plenty of room to ride bikes, take our two dogs on walks, and feed the ducks down at the pond. Our cats enjoy sunbathing in the windowsills and exploring our back deck that’s filled with different plants and flowers. There are a lot of local parks nearby with play areas for the kids. There’s also an orchard not too far up the road; we can’t wait to take our child berry picking and to the pumpkin patch there! Our town also puts on a great Christmas light display that we can’t wait to take our child to. It’s magical!

Our Extended Family

We are extremely family oriented, and we enjoy visiting with family as much as possible. We have many family traditions that are important to us. Some of our favorite traditions are birthday dinners, game nights, summer vacations, fall festivities, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve.

In our family, we have birthday parties for the children, and as adults, we get to choose where to go out to eat for our special day. We have eleven nieces and nephews, so birthdays are always special. We try to have game nights every chance we get. We enjoy both card games and board games. The whole family gets together and goes to the beach every summer. We like to carve pumpkins and go to pumpkin festivals each year. On Christmas Eve, we all get together to make Christmas cookies. We stay the night at Kristen’s parents house and wake up to open presents on Christmas morning. On New Year’s Eve, we get together to play games and snack on yummy appetizers while waiting for the ball to drop!

Both of our families were so very excited when they heard we were planning on adopting! They can’t wait to welcome a new member into the family with tons of love!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always known we wanted children, and after dealing with infertility, we began to pursue adoption. With our background in foster care, we frequently saw adoption work beautifully. Although we weren’t able to grow our family through the fostering realm, we believe everything happens for a reason! We know fostering to adopt didn’t work out because we were meant to be here, introducing ourselves to you today! We’re very hopeful in this process, and we cannot wait to grow our family!
