Krystle & Kesha

Family Type: Lesbian Couple
State We live in: South Carolina

dear expectant mother

We are honored you are considering us as a potential family and cannot wait to start this journey with you. You should know you will always remain a part of your child’s story. While we will never be able to fully understand what you are going through during this time, we will be sure to tell of your compassion, strength, and selflessness.

If you choose us, we will always be supportive, available, honest, and loving. Above all, we will have boatloads of fun every step of the way. We will be the ones jumping up and down in mud puddles together with your child. We will climb mountains together and explore all that we can. Your child will see us in the stands at their baseball games, school plays, basketball games, or piano recitals, if that's what they are into. Whatever their passion is, we will feed that passion and support your child to the absolute best of our ability. Your child will grow up surrounded by a strong and diverse support system of family and friends. Love, acceptance, kindness, and cultural awareness will be the foundation we aim to establish.

Thank you again for considering us. We can't wait to get to know you and begin to build our relationship.

With love,
Krystle and Kesha

We are honored you are considering us as a potential family and cannot wait to start this journey with you. You should know you will always remain a part of your child’s story.

About Us

Lakesha (Kesha) works as a nanny to two toddlers, and she also teaches sport-specific personal training and self-defense. Krystle works as a control room operator at a local electric generating plant. We met about eight years ago playing rugby together and have been married for almost five years now. Some of our favorite things to do involve spending time with friends, watching and playing sports, and traveling to experience different cultures and history. We also love to be outdoors hiking, camping, and chasing waterfalls and look forward to including a child in all these activities!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a diverse neighborhood about ten minutes from a larger city. Our house is located in a great school district close to parks, an ice cream shop, hiking trails, and a river where we often kayak and fish. We live in a four-bedroom, three-bath house and have big plans for turning one of the rooms into an amazing and colorful playroom. We look forward to picking fruits and veggies with your child in our raised bed garden, reading books, and running around in the fenced back yard. We also have three fur children. Rambo and Scout are our pups. Rambo loves to nap all day and sunbathe on the deck, while Scout loves to play fetch. Luna is a kitten we rescued who loves cuddling and exploring outside.

Our Extended Family

Krystle grew up in a small rural town and carries with her the values of determination and hard work from her humble upbringing. Everyone, especially her mom and dad, is extremely excited for a family addition. Nothing makes her mom more excited than spoiling grandkids on Christmas morning!

Kesha's parents were at every sporting event that Kesha ever participated in, often cheering louder than the cheerleaders! We plan to support your child in the same manner, no matter what their interest might be. Seafood Fridays are one of Kesha's favorite childhood traditions we will always carry on.

We are also surrounded by an amazing group of friends we consider family. Kesha is the nanny to her lifetime best friend's four-year-old and one-year-old, and we look forward to your child being able to join in on the backyard movie nights, trips to the lake, and baseball games. We truly consider our rugby and tennis teams to be family as well. We are absolutely blessed to have such a strong support system around us to join in on the fun. They are all ecstatic when it comes to our plans to add a little one to our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always been our first choice. Friends have been able to share their adoption experiences with us, and it is exciting to see the happiness it has brought their families. We have a tremendous amount of love for each other and cannot wait to share that love with your child. We cannot wait to expand our family and teach a child all the lessons we have learned through this journey they call life.
