About Us

Hi! We are Kyle and Brett! We met in 2013 when Kyle was going to medical school in Georgia, where Brett was raised and was working in marketing for a pest control company. Our paths crossed online, and we were engaged within six months of meeting each other. It was truly love at first sight. In 2015 we got married and have now been together almost 11 years. After finishing school in 2017, we moved to Florida, where we currently live. Kyle is an emergency room doctor, and Brett is now a stay-at-home dog dad—hoping to be a real dad soon! We love to visit family in Georgia and Virginia, travel the world together, watch movies, and visit Disney World, which is right down the street! We are so excited for the opportunity to expand our family and begin sharing our wonderful life!

Our Home & Pets

In 2020 we were very fortunate to be able to purchase our first home, a four-bedroom home with our own pool in a gated community in the suburbs of Central FL. Within walking distance, we have a park with a large playground, field, and river! Our neighborhood is very family friendly and is in an excellent school district. We love to decorate our home like the Griswolds in the movie Christmas Vacation for every major holiday and season—we go all out! We have two fur babies, Theodore and Finley, who are so excited to have a new sibling. We are very close to Disney World, where we have annual passes, and it’s also a very easy drive to the local beaches.

Our Extended Family

Living in Florida, we are blessed to reside in a vacation location. Our home has become a beloved location where our whole extended family will come to visit throughout the year to enjoy the sunshine, theme parks, and wonderful attractions that Florida has to offer.

While we may live in a different state than our family, we still remain very close to them and are lucky to be able to visit them many times a year. Brett has one older brother, and Kyle has a blended family with a total of six siblings, both biological and through marriage. Our families are so eager to welcome a new addition through adoption!

During the holiday season, we have made it a tradition to visit Brett’s extended family in Virginia, where we are able to see snow and partake in all the Christmas traditions. In Georgia, Brett’s parents are eagerly anticipating becoming first-time grandparents!

What Led Us To Adoption

We have many friends and family members who have started their own families, and being included in their children’s milestones has been a true joy for us. Spending time with them has made us want to grow our little family larger and share the love and happiness we have in our own home. Together we have built such a loving, stable, and supportive environment, and we feel we are ready and excited to expand our family through adoption. Our hearts are so full of love, and we are committed to providing a warm, inclusive, and supportive space where our family can flourish and grow.
