dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Your journey is marked by bravery. You are amazing for bringing this child into the world. You are selfless for working to find the best future for your baby. We know the struggle of trying to do what is best for your child and the hope of a wonderful future.

We want to be part of your baby’s story. We want to show this child love, show them what hope means, and give them everything they need. As Christians, we believe our Father in heaven has adopted us into His family, and we want to do the work of our Father in caring for an amazing life He is knitting, right now, in your womb. No matter your decision, we pray a blessing over you and your child.

We believe your baby is beautifully and wonderfully made by the Creator of the universe. We believe He has a special plan for your baby, and we want to be part of your baby’s amazing plan. Thank you for considering our loving family.

Blessings,
Scott and Lacey

About Us

HI there! We are Scott and Lacey. We are the parents of Elle, Liv, and Phin (Elle-Liv-Phin, like the animal…not planned). We are Bible-believing, education-loving, travel-crazy, entrepreneur Christians. We dedicate our lives to the Greatest Commandment of loving the Lord with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. We spend A LOT of time with our family and believe that a close relationship between parent and child is the best education. In addition, we strive to find the best schools for our children, travel a lot to give them diverse experiences, and make sure every night they go to bed knowing they are loved and treasured by us. We are both outgoing and loud, and we love to encourage and support others in all we do!

Our Home & Neighborhood

After living in NYC and Connecticut, we decided to settle back in Texas, where we are from, but still visit NYC often, where we work some and support ministries. We live on an acre with a pool and jungle gym, where our kids love to play outside and which we explore together. We have a four-year-old Boston terrier named Bluebell.

Our Family & Friends

We have a large extended family here in Texas with whom we are very close. Lacey is blessed to still have both parents and a younger sister. Scott has both parents, three older brothers who are married, and 11 nieces and nephews. Every holiday in Texas is one long party—usually in Grandma’s pool with trips to see all our friends as well. We also have very close friends in both Texas and NYC whom we see regularly and consider family.

Every holiday has a sweet set of traditions and favorite foods as well. We love celebrating life wins with our family and they support us, whether at Little League baseball or moving across the country. We have been so blessed by our large family and even have long-term friends we call family as well. Our current children are blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins—a blessing we hope to share with our future children as well.

What Led Us To Adoption

While we had our first conversation about adoption before we got pregnant with our oldest child (age 11), we feel now is the best time to adopt. We love the dynamics of larger families, and God has blessed us so we can welcome another beautiful child into our family. Watching our kids love on and support younger babies and toddlers is one of the most beautiful things we have ever seen, and our youngest son wants to be a big brother. Lacey had three children in 41 months, and her body cannot have any more children.
