dear expectant mother

To a Courageous Mother:

It’s because of strong, selfless mothers like you that couples like us can even dream about being prospective parents. For that alone, we thank you! We also thank you for viewing our profile and are hopeful we were able to give you a glimpse into our lives to show you how much we would love and protect your child. Although we don’t know the exact emotions you have right now, please find comfort in the fact we are two caring men committed to working alongside you through this process and beyond.

Every family has their unique story, and we are honored about the possibility of you being a part of ours. If given the opportunity to welcome your child into our lives as adoptive parents, you can expect us to always provide your child with unconditional love, continued patience, and an abundance of support.

We know there is a baby waiting to be born into our family, and every day we hope their mother will find us soon. Maybe that mother is you, and we are beyond grateful for you giving us a chance to find out. We’re wishing you the best of all things in the future and peace of mind knowing that if you choose us, your child will be well taken care of and loved.

With love,
Sule & Lamarr

About Us

We always tell our friends, “It was love at first swipe,” as we quickly fell in love after meeting on a dating app five years ago. We are now newlyweds who have successfully blended our friends and families. Although we come from different cultures, we have many shared experiences as we both were raised by parents who had limited resources but showered us with plenty of love. Sule was born in Jamaica and moved to America as a teenager, where his love for technology grew, and he is now able to live his dream every day as a software engineer. Lamarr is originally from Michigan and is a natural-born leader. He currently works as an operations manager, where he leads a diverse team of analysts that are located throughout the U.S. Together we enjoy our weekly date nights and exploring the world.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom townhouse. Our home is located in a quiet, safe, and diverse subdivision in Georgia a short walk from a grass-filled park. We love taking our shih tzus, Drake and Oz, to the park to play while we fly our drone. Our subdivision is it’s own trusted family as neighbors are always gathered talking during food truck Thursdays or the kids are riding their bikes and walking dogs. The subdivision attracts families because there are plenty of family-friendly amenities, from the community pool and playground to tennis and basketball courts. We love hosting our friends for game nights, BBQs and karaoke. Sule especially loves stargazing on clear nights with his telescope.

Our Extended Family

Supportive, close-knit, and fun are only a few words we could use to describe our families. We both come from households where education was important. Sule’s mother retired from teaching, and Lamarr’s mother is a school counselor. Sule’s dad is an electrician and is the first person we call when we want to learn the best route to tackle our DIY projects. Lamarr’s father passed away in 2018, and he cherishes the memories he is left with. Lamarr has three siblings (older sister and older and younger brothers). Sule is the oldest and has a younger sister whom he talks to on a daily basis. Combined, we have three nephews and three nieces ranging in age from 21 years old down to one year old.

We are fortunate to also have a close-knit group of friends who live nearby. The group is a melting pot of experiences and stages of life, and many have small kids themselves. We celebrate each other's wins and provide support during those inevitable tough times we all experience during the course of life. We are excited for the day we get to include your child in our current traditions and create new ones with the soon-to-be bundle of joy.

What Led Us To Adoption

From the beginning of our relationship, we have discussed how we were ready for kids. We spent many nights researching which path would be best to build our family, and adoption was always the clear answer. Lamarr has three cousins who were adopted. He remembers the joy in his aunt’s eyes as the family welcomed each of them with love on day one. Recently we had an opportunity to follow the journey of our same-sex couple friends as they welcomed their adopted daughter into their lives in 2021. We are thankful for mothers like you who are open to helping loving couples like us build our family. We truly understand how selfless you have to be to even consider this option.
