dear expectant mother

We wish to take a moment to honor you and the difficult decision you are faced with. We can only imagine how hard this process must be for you. This is an emotional and delicate experience we do not take lightly. We feel extremely grateful to you for taking the time to read this letter and hopefully consider us as a potential adoptive family for your child. It is important to us that you know we will do everything we can to honor you and provide your child with a life in which they can thrive and live their dreams.

Our desire to raise and love a child is strong. We have been fortunate to accomplish many dreams together, but growing our family would be the ultimate privilege and dream come true. We are strong in our love and commitment for one another, and we are ready to share that same love and commitment with a child. In addition, we hope to share our unique qualities, such as musical ability, athletics, and love for helping others, with our future child. While they will come into the world with their own special gifts and strengths that we will be sure to nurture, we are excited to share our gifts as well.

Thank you so much for your consideration. Your selflessness and strength are truly inspiring, and we wish you the utmost love and healing throughout this journey.

With love and gratitude,
Laura & Daniel

About Us

We are extremely excited about the opportunity to become parents. It is an experience we have dreamed about since we became a couple. We met working in the human and social services field and have been married almost three years. Our passion is to help underserved and system-involved youth and adults overcome barriers and live healthy and productive lives. Currently, we both work for a juvenile justice agency in leadership roles. Outside of work, we love to explore the great outdoors and enjoy traveling, camping, kayaking with our dog Odie, hiking, and eating great food. We also love spending time at home cooking meals and snuggling our pets. Spending time with family and friends is a core value for us both. Our families have blended beautifully, and we feel so lucky to be surrounded by their unconditional love and support.

Our Home & Pets

We purchased our first home together in 2019. Our two-story, three-bedroom home is in a family-oriented neighborhood. We live in one of the best school districts in Arizona and are within walking distance of a grade school and high school. We love to spend time in our backyard grilling and enjoying our colorful mural. Our home is surrounded by walking paths and is a close walk to a lake where we often walk our dog, Odie. Odie is our six-year-old chihuahua mix who shares our love for adventure. Odie’s best friends are our two cats, Piney and Luna. Our pets mean the world to us and bring us a lot of laughter and joy.

Our Extended Family

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful family and friends who love and support us. Most importantly, they support our dreams of becoming parents. Both of us have very involved parents and extended family, including a brother, sister, niece, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Some of our family members reside in Mexico.

Raising our child with Mexican and American traditions and to be bilingual with the Spanish language is important to us. Our shared culture is what makes our family unique and strong. Celebrations of holidays, birthdays, and other special milestones are always shared with our families coming together to eat a variety of delicious foods, listening to music, laughing, and creating memories to last a lifetime.

We truly believe family is the core of all love, and we cannot wait to share our family’s love with a child.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always had the desire to become parents and shared the desire to adopt and conceive. After marriage, we tried to conceive; however, we were faced with the harsh reality of infertility. After a few failed fertility treatments, we decided to discontinue that journey and focus on expanding our family through adoption. Our goal is to become parents, and we are thrilled to embrace that opportunity. We are excited to bring a child into our lives to be loved and nurtured by us and our extended family and friends. We have a lot of love to give.
