Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Colorado

dear expectant mother

We are thankful for you considering us as prospective parents. We have been through a difficult and emotional journey of infertility. You have tremendous strength, and we admire you for making this difficult decision. We respect and appreciate you for this selfless and courageous act. We hope you find comfort in knowing your baby will be loved unconditionally and cared for in a safe and happy home should you choose us. We are blessed to be surrounded by fun-loving family and friends who share our excitement and joy.

If you choose us, your child will complete our family and fill our hearts. Our upbringing, education, and experiences will provide your child with happiness and the ability to fulfill their dreams and reach their potential. We promise to create and foster a positive family culture much like what we experienced growing up. As children, we felt supported and were guided in making healthy choices. We made mistakes, as all children do, but knew our parents' love and understanding would get us through those difficult times. It is our goal to be there for your child and to show kindness and compassion as they grow and experience life and the challenges it brings.

Again, we thank you for considering us as prospective parents and sharing this journey with you.
Your priceless gift would be filling a void in our family and hearts, and we will forever be grateful to you.

If you choose us, your child will complete our family and fill our hearts.

About Us

We met at a wedding celebration 11 years ago, and it was love at first sight. Our relationship is strong as we appreciate the respect, love, and commitment we have for each other. As a design engineer, Sean is creative and detail and task oriented. Laura, as an elementary school educator and principal, makes a positive difference in the lives of children and adults. Sean enjoys riding his motorcycle, photography, gardening, and cooking on his smoke grill. Laura enjoys trying new recipes, home decorating, hiking, fishing, and camping/RVing. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends, taking walks or riding our ebikes around the neighborhood, and walking our dog. Traveling is one of our favorites. We love to explore new places, see new sites, and experience new things. We have fun playing cards and board games, listening to music in the park, and watching sporting events.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a friendly and family-oriented community that has parks and playgrounds, trails, a lake, and a recreation center. In addition, we live in the highest-achieving and largest school district in the city, where Laura is privileged to work. Our home is in an area that provides easy access to shopping, groceries, medical facilities, sports fields, and restaurants. We have a five-bedroom, three-bathroom, ranch-style home on a corner lot with a fenced backyard and great views. Our home is warm and welcoming with a small, fawn-colored pug named Sadie. She is fun, loving, and social.

Our Extended Family

We both have close-knit families that are local. It’s nice for us to see our parents, who have both been married for over 49 years, for a meal, game night, or visit. Laura has a married twin sister who has two daughters and a son and a married younger sister with a daughter. Sean has a younger brother who is married. We adore our three nieces and nephew and are active in their lives.

We love to get together with both sides of the family for birthdays, weekend getaways, vacation, holiday outings, seasonal activities/festivals, and the kids’ soccer, basketball, and football games. Traditions are important to both families as they provide memorable moments, good times, and lots of laughs. Some of our traditions include helping to prepare special foods for the holidays, attending events and family gatherings, going camping/RVing, and fishing. Both of our families continue to enjoy creating new traditions and memories together.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are excited about the opportunity to adopt after several failed fertility treatments. Not only do we want to become parents but we also want to provide a child with a loving home and family. We want to raise and guide a child to a successful life. Adopting a child will change our lives for the better as we learn to grow as a family. They will be a welcome change in our quiet home to a home full of noise and laughter. Our family and friends are beyond happy for us and very encouraging. We are fortunate to have both sides of the family near us to give extra love and support.
