dear expectant mother

We recognize we cannot predict your thoughts and emotions at this time. We do believe you are strong, selfless, and full of love as you are considering the best path for your child. Already you mean the absolute world to us, and we have not even gotten to connect yet. You are considering giving us our final puzzle piece to complete our family. If you choose us to welcome your child into our lives, we promise a nurturing, supportive, and peaceful home. We want absolutely nothing but the best for you and your family at this time. We are so unbelievably proud of your steps taken in making this decision. We would be absolutely honored if you would consider choosing us to raise your baby as we would give him or her the best loving home! We have dreamed of being parents.

Thank you for considering our profile. We can promise you that if you choose us to raise your sweet baby, we will wake up every day giving hugs, kisses, and all the love! We have so much love to give your baby. We can promise they would never question if they are loved or cherished. We can’t wait to teach them to read, ride bikes, throw a ball, and have family dinner every night together before a bedtime story. This child will have a big family who is excited to meet them and love them.

Thank you for getting to know us.

Respectfully,
Lauren and Patrick

We would be absolutely honored if you would consider choosing us to raise your baby as we would give him or her the best loving home! We have dreamed of being parents.

About Us

We met on Match.com. On our first date, we met at the local frozen yogurt shop. We sat outside and talked for hours. We just knew we were destined to be together. Everything just felt…well, right! Patrick is an active duty member in the U.S. Army. Lauren is an intake specialist, helping veterans with their disability ratings. We have been married for three years. Throughout our relationship, we have loved traveling near and far, going to movies together, and being outside exploring. Lauren loves to cook, bake fresh bread every week, and work in the garden. Lauren’s homemade delicacies are always requested at our family gatherings. Patrick loves to read, learn new things, and golf. We love to get together with our family regularly and create memories. We built our first home together in August 2020 in a beautiful neighborhood in a cul-de-sac.

Our Home & Pets

We built our house two years ago in a residential neighborhood in NC in a cul-de-sac where all the children ride their bikes up and down the sidewalks. We are just around the corner from many great schools. When walking the dogs in the neighborhood, everyone waves. We have Sadie, our family matriarch; our lovebug, Nala, our social girl who loves to play ball; and Nikko, our faithful old man who traveled with Lauren from Japan. We also have two cats, Cali and Ted, who think they are dogs. We have four free range chickens that supply fresh eggs daily. We love growing different types of vegetables and herbs in our gardens. Our large backyard is our happy place. We look forward to adding a playset, which will complete our backyard.

Our Extended Family

We are lucky to live close to all of our family. We are able to randomly stop by and just say hi, watch a football game together, or enjoy a meal with each other. Our traditions are holidays spent together as a family. Lauren likes to go all out for Christmas. She bakes cookies and all the desserts and even does matching pajama pictures in front of the tree.

We are both only children. Lauren is a fourth-generation girl and grew up with male cousins and friends enjoying an active outdoor lifestyle. Patrick is from a big family as his mother was one of six children. Patrick’s family holiday dinner at his grandparents’ home was set for 33 people. Patrick’s father, adopted himself, has been such a support system throughout this journey. Patrick’s parents are both recently retired and always so open to helping if we ever need anything! Shhh…they do not know it yet, but they would be our back pocket babysitters. Lauren’s family has a big military background and are still working and helping the military in many different avenues. We are both so lucky to have grandparents actively involved in our lives, and they are looking forward to being great-grandparents!

What Led Us To Adoption

We always knew we wanted to have a big yard with children running around and playing. After multiple rounds of unsuccessful fertility treatments, we realized there was a different route destined for us to expand our family. Our family and friends have been very supportive in our process, especially Patrick’s father, who was adopted as a child, and Lauren’s aunt, who placed a child for adoption. Our parents are ecstatic to be promoted to grandparents and look forward to welcoming this child into their lives. Having the good fortune to adopt would be the piece of the puzzle we are missing from our family life.
