dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We cannot even begin to imagine what a difficult time this must be for you trying to figure out the best option for you and your baby. There are no sufficient words to express how incredibly grateful we are for you and the possibility to expand our family through the adoption process. Even though we haven’t met yet, we know you are such a great mother, and we admire you so much for choosing life and considering adoption.

If you choose us, we promise your child will have the best big brother to look after them. We believe there is no greater gift we can give a child than a sibling who will be their best friend for life. We also promise each day will be full of unconditional love, laughter, and adventure playing with our pups, who are a huge part of our family. We will teach them to be humble, kind, inclusive, and respectful of others.

If you choose us to be a part of this journey with you, we promise to only speak of you and their adoption story with love and respect. We want to be respectful of your comfort level and whatever type of relationship you wish to have down the road. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering us to love and raise your child as a part of our family. May your heart be filled with peace with whatever decision you make.

Our Lifestyle

We met at work in 2012 and got married a year later. We both work in leadership in the insurance industry. While our careers are important to us, our family always comes first. We have a great work–life balance as we have the ability to work from home. Because of this, we are always able to take part in every important life moment. We are the best of friends and love to travel and experience new things together. Our goal with our family is to prioritize travel and experiences over things to build core memories whenever we can. Our greatest joy is the gift of being parents. Our son currently attends Catholic preschool and is learning all about Jesus. If you asked Lauren, she would tell you Tony has the best sense of humor; he is the best dad and biggest sports fanatic. What Tony would tell you about Lauren is that she is an amazing mother with a heart of gold who loves to work on house projects in her spare time.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a five-bedroom, split-level home with a fenced-in yard with lots of space to entertain and play. Our finished basement serves as a playroom that’s filled with toys and a sitting area where we spend family time watching movies. Our neighborhood is full of young families and kiddos running around playing. We live in a great family town near a park with walking trails that we love to walk and bike ride. Two wagging tails and paw prints complete our home. Louie is a yorkie that loves to cuddle. Our six-year-old labradoodle, Ozzie, is our son’s best friend and is sure to be your child’s best friend too!

Our Family & Friends

Tony grew up in a large family and has a close relationship with them. Growing up with three sisters taught Tony valuable skills, patience, and the importance of a sibling bond. We love making lifetime memories with our family, and spend almost every major holiday with Tony’s family and love the tradition of going to the zoo for Halloween!

Lauren grew up as an only child but with lots of cousins! Her favorite childhood memory was spending time at her grandparents’ with all of her cousins. Lauren’s parents divorced when she was younger and both remarried. Lauren has five step-sisters and nine nieces and nephews. Both of Lauren’s parents visit us several times a year, and we visit them a few times a year and usually spend Christmas or Thanksgiving together. We also FaceTime several times a week and are working on Lauren’s parents relocating to Illinois when they retire in a few years.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always dreamed of having a big family. Unfortunately, after we were married, we faced four years of fertility struggles. In 2018, we were blessed with our son through the IVF process—truly an absolute miracle. After his birth, we experienced multiple late pregnancy losses and have been unable to grow our family further. Adoption has always been on our hearts and something we’ve discussed throughout our marriage. After many conversations with friends and family members who have gone through the adoption process, we knew our hearts were ready to pursue this path. It would be the privilege of a lifetime to expand our family through adoption.
