Thank you for taking the time to learn about us! We are very humbled and grateful our profile is in your hands. Even though you don’t know us yet, we have been praying for you. We understand you have a lot of emotions through this process, as we do too. We want what is best for your precious baby, whether it is with us, you, or another great family. We’d be honored to walk with you through this journey at any level you’re comfortable with.

Since we got married a year and a half ago, we’ve been trying to start our family. After over one year of no success, we started seeking doctors’ help until we found out having a baby naturally wasn’t part of God’s plan for us. This is when we started talking about and researching adoption.

We see the adoption process as a journey God has directed both of our hearts to. We want whatever is best for you and to encourage you through this journey. We want to be part of your story as well. We are excited to adopt and cannot wait to love on a precious little one.

About Us

Dan is very involved with local emergency services as a lieutenant with the volunteer fire department and his full-time career as a supervisor of the county’s 911 dispatch center. Leandra (along with her mom) owns and runs a very successful online boutique business from our home. We live a quiet life and spend most of our time enjoying our home and fur babies. We go out for dinner for date nights once in a while. We have been able to do some fun date night activities, like seeing Dustin Lynch and Lindsey Sterling, bingo, and, at Christmas time, driving around to check out Christmas lights! We are always working on home improvement projects and updating our home. We also enjoy getting together with our neighbors for picnics, campfires, and smores. When we are able, we like to travel and explore new areas.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a Cape Cod-style, two-story brick home with a fenced-in yard in a quiet, child-friendly neighborhood. A few parks are within walking distance, and we’re within 10 minutes of the schools. Dan’s parents live a block from us in the house Dan grew up in. We also live about 20 minutes from a larger city and are close to attractions and activities. We currently have four furbabies: Bella, an 11-year-old black Lab terrier mix, and three cats. Paws is a 17-year-old gray cat with white paws, Lexi is a nine-year-old brown tabby cat, and Smokey is an eight-year-old gray cat. Bella has so much love for anyone she meets and is excited to be a big sister!

Our Extended Family

Our parents have both been married over 40 years! We enjoy getting together with our immediate family for family meals and especially the holidays.

Dan has two younger sisters. One is married and has four children, ages 9, 7, 5, and 1. The other sister works for an outreach organization. Dan has six aunts and uncles and 12 cousins all over the U.S.

Leandra has one older sister who has four children, ages 19, 16, 13, and 10. Leandra’s sister is a music teacher and teaches band and choir at a small school district. Leandra has a very big family of aunts and uncles. Leandra’s mom comes from a family of 13, and her dad comes from a family of six. We have a large blend of cousins!

What Led Us To Adoption

We met and started dating in 2019. We got engaged in 2020, planned a wedding in eight months, and got married in 2021! When we were still in the dating phase, we always said we wanted at least two kids. We have since found out God has another journey for us. Since our wedding day, we’ve been eager to start our family. It’s been a year and a half of ups and downs, the “ups” being the many adventures had and memories made as newlyweds and the “downs” being still waiting to start our family. This is where we are today, starting our new journey on our adoption path! We are excited for this next chapter together!
