dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to view our profile. We can only imagine what emotions you are experiencing throughout this process of deciding who will be the right parents for your baby. Although this is something we will never fully be able to understand, we believe you are beyond brave for making this decision for you and your baby. By choosing the adoption process for your baby, we know how compassionate, loving, courageous, and selfless you are. We would be forever grateful if you chose us as you would be making our dream of becoming parents come true. A day wouldn’t go by where we wouldn’t be lovingly thinking about you for the precious gift you gave us.

We have been on a difficult and emotional infertility journey. So many couples yearn to be parents, and after many difficult tries, we would be so excited to be on this journey with you at whatever level you are comfortable with. If you do decide to choose us, we promise to love this baby with all of our hearts. We will show them unconditional love and encourage them to be their best selves. We promise to do our best to raise them to be an amazing, respectful, compassionate, and loving human being while filling their hearts with joy and laughter. We will teach them to enjoy the simple things in life and that love, above all, is the greatest gift in life. Our thoughts, love, and prayers are with you during this time.

About Us

We met ten years ago out on the lake. Neither of us wanted to go out that day, but at the convincing of our siblings, we ventured out. We are so thankful we did because it was love at first sight! We have been inseparable ever since. Lindsay loves Josh’s hardworking nature, his love for everyone around him, his amazing sense of humor, and his ability to make her laugh. Josh was drawn to Lindsay for her compassion for others, her willingness to help people, and her sense of humor. Josh works as an electrician outfitting high-rise buildings in the city. Lindsay is a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse at the children’s hospital. We both love our quality time together, spending time with our extended family, playing and hiking with our Lab, Wylie, and doing projects around the house.

Our Home & Pets

We wake up every day grateful to live in a home full of joy and laughter in an amazing tiny town in South Carolina. Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a flat driveway for chalk art, and a large backyard that would be perfect for a swing set. Our community has an amazing school district, access to multiple state parks, and lots of playgrounds. We are blessed to live in an area that is close to a lake, the mountains, and the beach, so we go on many adventures. We have a seven-year-old Lab, Wylie. Wylie is so amazing and has quite the personality! She loves to play with her toys, go on car rides and walks, hike, and swim.

Our Extended Family

We are both blessed with amazingly loving and supportive families. Josh is the youngest of seven siblings, with two sisters and four brothers. His father lives nearby and his mom lives in Ohio. He has tons of nieces and nephews, all who live in Ohio, South Carolina, and Florida. Lindsay has two sisters, who are her best friends, and three amazing nephews, who all live nearby. Her mom lives nearby, and we see her daily. Lindsay’s parents are from Canada and all her extended family lives there. We love to travel and visit Canada as often as we can. Whether it is the holidays, a night out for dinner, a fun game night in, or our annual spring break trip to a new destination each year, our time is always full of joy, laughter, and shenanigans.

What Led Us To Adoption

Both of us have always wanted a big family. After a heartbreaking diagnosis of infertility and many different fertility treatments, we were unable to conceive. We had always been open to adoption as Lindsay’s grandmother and Josh’s brother and sister were adopted. We saw firsthand how adoption impacted their lives and have been so touched by their stories that it inspired us to proceed on this journey. We love how the adoption process will give us the ability to provide a safe, loving, and supportive home to a child and become the parents we’ve always dreamed of being.
