About Us

Welcome to our family! Together, we’ve created a life beyond our wildest dreams around the beautiful family we’ve built through adoption. Our twin boys are the heart of our family, and we’re excited to welcome a new addition soon! Our journey began in 2011, and in 2020 we were thrilled to adopt our twins. We love exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on our favorite sports teams. Parks and swimming are our go-to activities with the boys! Justin was born in California, Marcelino in Mexico, and Stephan and Peter in Chicago. We work in retail and healthcare. Traveling and enjoying the outdoors are our passions. Whether we’re biking around the neighborhood or taking our three furry friends for walks, we love staying active. Coming from big families, we prioritize quality time together, family dinners, and celebrating every holiday with loved ones.

Our Home & Pets

Our home sits in a very diverse neighborhood with lots of children. The town is very family friendly and is located in Northern California. We are walking distance to downtown, parks, swimming pools, and trails as well as the schools. The backyard is gated and great for kids to play in the grass and run around with our three dogs. There is a huge room off of the living room that has turned into our playroom, with lots of natural light to play on sunny days. The new addition to our family will have a bedroom of his or her own that overlooks the backyard.

Our Extended Family

We both grew up surrounded by large, loving families. Justin is the middle child with two siblings and has over 20 cousins, creating a vibrant family dynamic. We’re fortunate to live just 20 minutes away from Justin’s sisters and parents, allowing us to gather for family dinners. Every holiday is a special occasion at our home, filled with laughter and togetherness. Some of our favorite moments with Justin's family include camping trips, visits to amusement parks, and those cozy evenings spent around the table sharing stories about life and family.

Marcelino is the second oldest of six brothers, and family gatherings are a cherished tradition for him. We visit his family in Mexico twice a year, with New Year’s being a highlight when everyone comes together to celebrate. One of the best parts of those visits is the nightly ritual of enjoying coffee and pastries together after dinner, bonding over shared stories and laughter.

Both of our families are beyond excited about the arrival of our new addition and are incredibly supportive as we embark on this next chapter. We truly feel blessed to have such a strong and loving extended family surrounding us.

Our Adoption Story

It all began with a call that changed our lives forever. We received a call that a birthmother wanted to connect with us about adopting twins. We knew this was more than just an adoption; it was the beginning of a lifelong relationship built on love and respect. When we met the twins, it was a dream come true. As we navigate this beautiful journey together, we continue to honor their birthmother through open communication, celebrating milestones and creating opportunities for shared experiences. Our family is growing in ways we never imagined, and we are grateful for every moment. We look forward to having this experience again and continuing to honor the love and strength that each birthmother brings to our lives.
