dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mama,

We give all of our thanks to you for considering us to raise your baby. We cannot imagine how difficult a decision this is for you. We do know we all want the same thing for your baby: a happy, loving home where your child will be cherished and loved. We have so much love to give, lessons to teach, and adventures to begin.

Thank you for considering giving us the opportunity to have the family both of us have dreamed of for so long. If you choose us as your baby’s adoptive parents, please know your baby will be cared for and always encouraged to be themselves. Your baby would join a large extended family of cousins, uncles, and aunts, all of whom will make a positive impact in their life.

Your child deserves the world, and you deserve to know your baby is given every opportunity available. There is no amount of thanks we can give for your selfless act. Thank you for considering us.

Thank you for considering giving us the opportunity to have the family both of us have dreamed of for so long.

About Us

We are Mark and Patrick. We both grew up in different small towns in Texas and moved to a family-friendly city where we met in 2015 through mutual friends. We are a caring, outgoing, and adventurous couple who loves spending quality time with our families, laughing and making memories. Our extended family is quite large, and we love every minute watching our nieces and nephews’ activities, achievements, and special moments. Mark works for a property management company as a property manager, and Patrick works for a local credit union as a personal banker. Our employers promote a healthy work/life balance in our careers, which we value. During our free time, if we are not traveling to new places, we are spending time outdoors relaxing and soaking up the sun while fishing, enjoying a day at the lake, going to the beach, gardening, or walking our small dog, Louis.

Our Home & Pets

Our pampered dog, Louis, is gracious enough to share his very roomy four-bedroom, two-bath home in a newly developed neighborhood with us. We have a spacious backyard where we enjoy our evenings by winding down and listening to music. In our diverse community of close-knit neighbors, we have fun partaking in networking, resident social events, and pool gatherings. Living in a major city, we are grateful to have access to several different exceptional school districts to choose from as well as local attractions such as museums, parks, greenbelts, walking trails, and lakes.

Our Extended Family

Patrick has three brothers and eight nieces and nephews. We are close with his brothers and their wives. There is always a reason to celebrate, and we get together often. A typical weekend with Patrick’s family can include a trip to the beach, a barbeque outside, or playing games with the kids.

Mark has a smaller, close-knit family. He has a brother and a sister, and we enjoy spending time with them and their spouses. A typical weekend with Mark’s family might include relaxing on the back porch, watching movies, or playing board games.

Both Mark and Patrick’s parents are still married and are supportive of our adoption journey. We have traditions from both sides of the family that we are excited to share with our future child. We believe it “takes a village,” and we have the perfect village around us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We both grew up in loving families and knew we wanted to share that same love. From early on in our relationship, we talked about growing a family of our own through adoption. We know several couples who have adopted and even a couple who recently completed their journey with LifeLong. After hearing all the wonderful stories about adoption and the overwhelming support from our families, we are even more excited to start our own adoption journey.
