Dear Expectant Mother,

Every time I put myself in your shoes, I am awestruck by your unending courage, bravery, strength, and selflessness. As you look for potential families, I am humbled you would consider me as an adoptive parent for your baby. While I am feeling nervous, anxious, and vulnerable about adopting, I can’t begin to imagine the intensity of your emotions.

I promise to do everything in my power to provide a loving and caring life for your child. I am looking forward to teaching your child all about this big world and exploring every chance we get. I promise to not only teach your baby about academics and sports but also music, culture, and friendship. Your child will be provided every opportunity to follow their dreams and to change their mind, and I will be there to help them through the ups and downs of life. I will encourage their uniqueness, teach them their self-worth, and build their confidence. Your baby will not only be loved and cherished by me but also my village of supporters around me, who can’t wait for me to become a mother and be a part of this journey as well.

I will respect and honor whichever type of adoption you choose. I want to sincerely thank you for considering me for your baby and let you know I admire you for your infinite love you have for your child as you navigate this emotional journey of making an adoption plan.
