Family Type: Single Heterosexual Woman
State I live in: Pennsylvania

dear expectant mother

Thank you so very much for your courage and selflessness as you navigate this difficult time in your life. I am honored you are interested in learning more about me and the home I have to share with a child. My home is filled with love, rescue animals, good friends and family, and I am grateful you are viewing my profile.

I am looking forward to sharing so many of my family traditions with a child—from baking Polish cookies and pierogi from scratch, Easter brunch, and family baseball outings, to creating new traditions like decorating my hot pink Christmas tree for the holidays and dressing up the front of the house for Halloween.

I’m excited about the opportunity to be a mom and to experience life through a child’s eyes. I want you to know that I commit to loving and protecting your baby with my whole heart and will be their constant support from the moment I welcome them home. My promise to you and your baby is unconditional love.

Thank you again for wanting to know more about me. You are very brave, and if you entrust me with your baby, I promise to be the best mom I can. Thank you so much for your consideration!

With love and respect,
Michelle

About Me

Hello! I’m Michelle, a Chicago native who has relocated to the East Coast and loves all that Philadelphia has to offer. As someone who is passionate about music and art, I thrive in the variety of museums and shows the city has given me access to. I listen to all types of music and appreciate all kinds of art, which are both reflected in my style and home decor. I am also passionate about my love for animals and have been a vegetarian since I was twelve years old. Now, I dedicate my time to animal advocacy, soaking in all the culture and diversity that surrounds me, and watching as many live music shows as I can fit in my schedule.

My Home & Pets

I live in Philadelphia, one of the most diverse and historical cities in the country. I purchased my home here 10 years ago and have been personalizing it ever since. Near my house, there are several parks, pools, gardens, and museums. Most are within walking distance! If I go a little further, I can visit numerous historical sites (like the Liberty Bell), children’s museums, and even the beach! I share my home with my beautiful collection of rescued animals. I also have a vacation home in Chicago, where I’m originally from. It’s a condo in a highrise on Lake Shore Drive, just a short walk to the beach and near just about every museum and historical site in the city!

My Extended Family

My family is large and mostly located in Chicago. In fact, I’m the first of my family to leave Chicago in 100 years, since my ancestors immigrated there from Poland! That’s why I keep a home there, so I can visit as often as possible. My younger brother was the next to leave, and he relocated to California where he lives with his wife. Now our mom gets to split her time between California with him and Philadelphia with me. She is so looking forward to being a grandma! We have many family traditions to share, like passing blessed bread around the table at Christmas dinner so we can each take a bite and express gratitude. It takes a while to get through the whole, big family, but it’s so fun and so meaningful to all of us.

What Led Me To Adoption

Adoption is not just an option for me, it has always been my only plan. I have been passionate about pursuing adoption for as long as I can remember, and I never considered any other way of growing my family. For me, adoption is about something bigger than myself; it’s about sharing my life with someone who’s already here, who already exists, and I can’t wait!
