Michelle & Alex

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State we live in: Pennsylvania

dear expectant mother

As we sit down to write this letter, we are flooded with emotions: scared, nervous, excited, and anxious. We can only imagine all the emotions you may be feeling as you consider what could be the biggest decision of your life, not only for yourself but for the future of your child. Adoption is not only one of the bravest choices a woman can make but also one of the most amazing and selfless choices another human being can make. If you choose us, we would be honored to support you every step of the way, at any level you’re comfortable with.

We understand you have a very important and difficult decision to make for yourself and for your baby. There are many profiles you have been reading through thoroughly and making decisions based on what is best for your baby and what makes this couple different from the last. We both come from good, hardworking, and supportive families. We know we can help mold your child into a good, hardworking, and supportive person in today’s society. We have talked the process over with Michelle’s boys, and they are anxious to meet the future addition to our family. We are excited for an opportunity to love and support any child we are blessed to have join our family.

With appreciation,
Michelle and Alex

Adoption is not only one of the bravest choices a woman can make but also one of the most amazing and selfless choices another human being can make.

About Us

They say when you know you know. Well, our story proves that. Let us introduce ourselves. We are Michelle and Alex from Pennsylvania. Our relationship started a little over three years ago; COVID actually helped bring us closer together and stronger. Michelle is a customer relations representative for a company that went to a remote work environment, and Alex works a steady midnight shift. This allowed us to spend a great deal of time together and really grow our relationship. Michelle has a very personable and outspoken personality, whereas Alex is your typical go-with-the-flow, quiet kind of guy. Ever see the meme “Why do the quiet guys go for the loud Italian girls? Because someone has to say the pasta isn’t right”? That’s us! With Michelle’s two biological sons, aged 13 and 11, we enjoy hiking, swimming, and kayaking. The boys cannot wait to love, play with, and protect their future sibling.

Our Home & Pets

The small town we reside in is surrounded by woods and farmland. Our home was originally a two-story duplex that Michelle’s grandparents acquired in 1967. Her mother and uncles grew up in this home also. We remodeled it into a single family home that includes a pool, an outdoor fireplace, an area to watch movies, and about one acre of yard for activities. We have three dogs: Hondo, a four-year-old German shepherd; Riley, an 11-year-old chocolate Lab; and Drogo, a three-year-old, 30-pound dog that is mixed with just about everything. All the dogs are great with kids!

Our Extended Family

We have an amazing support system behind us. Michelle has two biological sons of her own: Xander, age 13, and Maddox, age 11. Alex loves and cares for them as his own. The boys are both excited to become big brothers. Michelle’s parents live less than a mile from us, and Alex’s parents live about 15 minutes from us. We have Sunday dinners and celebrate the holidays with our families. The only time we do not have Sunday dinners is when the boys have their sporting events, but the family instead goes there to support them. Michelle has one sister who also resides in the area, and between both our families, our future child will have 13 cousins under the age of 10, some of whom are triplets and twins.

What Led Us To Adoption

When our relationship first began, we both knew we wanted children, but we were unsure how we were going to make that happen. Michelle had a medical hysterectomy at the young age of 30, making having any more biological children impossible. We needed to find a way to build our family and have this opportunity together. We both knew if we didn’t take this leap of faith, we would always feel a part of us was incomplete. While exploring the options presented to us, knowing friends who have adopted, and having an amazing support system behind us, we realized adopting a child is the greatest gift we could receive.
