dear expectant mother

We can only imagine how heavy the decision before you must feel, and we want to thank you for taking a moment to read our letter. Our family was forever changed when we adopted our oldest daughter—she brought joy, laughter, and a new depth of love into our home. That experience opened our hearts and made us realize how deeply we want to grow our family through adoption again. We hope to provide a warm, stable, and nurturing home where a child is cherished, encouraged to explore, and supported in becoming their fullest self. Our days are filled with morning pancakes, backyard adventures, bedtime stories, and family traditions that celebrate individuality and kindness.

We are hopeful about the future and honored to be considered as possible parents for your baby. We promise to respect your courage and will always honor the story that connects you to your child. If you choose us, we will offer a lifetime of love, safety, and
opportunities for learning and joy, while holding space for whatever openness you may feel comfortable with. Thank you for considering us in such an important and personal decision. We admire your strength and wish you clarity and support as you make the choice that is best for you and your baby.

Our Lifestyle

Our daily life is warm, active, and full of opportunities for growth and play. After school and homework, our children dive into activities like dance, computer coding, swimming, and after-school sports, and they love spending time with our animals—dogs, cats,
chickens, ducks, and bunnies. Evenings are centered around family dinner, when we go around the table sharing the highs and lows of our day. We’re a musical family who enjoys karaoke and lively game nights. We often gather for Lego play, puzzles, and crafts that let everyone be creative together.

Weekends are busy and joyful with playdates, birthday parties, performances, museum visits, and shopping trips. Sunday mornings are for religious school, and we reserve Sundays as family days to reconnect without the usual weekly rush. Some Sundays you’ll find us at the dining room table, each working on a different puzzle or craft while we chat and laugh—simple routines that create a stable, loving home where a child can thrive.

Our Home & Neighborhood

If you choose us, your child would grow up in North Carolina, in a safe, friendly neighborhood within a large county that offers both suburban calm and city amenities. Our two children attend excellent schools—our son at a public magnet school focused on art (his gift) and our daughter at a selective private school that meets her academic and athletic passions. We live in a spacious home with land for animals—dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and bunnies—and plenty of room to play. We enjoy North Carolina’s outdoors and take regular advantage of the area’s rich arts, music, and cultural attractions, giving children a balanced, active, fun, and creative childhood.

Our Family & Friends

Our immediate family is made up of the two of us and our two children, ages 9 and 7. We wake up every day and our children are surrounded by love from a large, caring support network that would welcome your baby with open arms.

Our children share close, loving relationships with their maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins—we travel together often for weekends, holidays, and family birthdays, and those gatherings are full of laughter, warm traditions, and thoughtful gifts. Although family members live in various places, we prioritize visiting one another regularly so our children grow up knowing and feeling connected to their extended family; they especially adore their Great Grandfather and look forward to visits with him.

We also have a nearby circle of close friends and chosen family who are part of our daily lives, offering help, playdates, and shared celebrations. If you choose us, your child would be welcomed into this joyful, stable community that values love, togetherness, and the rich relationships that make life meaningful.

Adoption in Our Lives

Adoption changed our lives in the most beautiful way when we welcomed our oldest daughter into our family—she has been the light of our lives, bringing joy, curiosity, and unconditional love into every day. Watching her grow, learn, and flourish has shown us the profound, lasting impact a loving home can have, and becoming parents through adoption has truly been the best thing we have ever done.

That experience deepened our commitment to family, compassion, and openness, and it’s why we feel called to expand our family through adoption again. We carry immense gratitude for the gift of parenthood and a sincere desire to offer another child the same warmth, stability, and opportunities that transformed our daughter’s life, her brother’s life, and ours.
