dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

I want to thank you for considering an adoption plan for your child. Your consideration to allow me to raise your child is one of the most selfless things a human being can do, and for that I love you, I respect you, and I honor you.

Please know that you considering me as an adoptive mother is the biggest blessing I could ever receive. If you choose me, your baby will be raised in a home where he or she will be loved beyond measure. I will make sure your child grows up to be a good person who is selfless and loving. I will make education a priority, but more importantly, I will make the love of God, self, and others the biggest priorities. I promise to give them the space to be themselves and explore all of their dreams.

Please know that you considering me as an adoptive mother is the biggest blessing I could ever receive. If you choose me, your baby will be raised in a home where he or she will be loved beyond measure.

About Me

I’m an Air Force veteran originally from Pennsylvania. I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to live in incredible places around the world, including South Korea and California, but I call Maryland home. I work for the federal government and enjoy my job as well as pursuing outside ventures. I recently passed the state real estate exam and am so excited to pursue a new opportunity! I live an hour away from two major cities and am surrounded by culture and diversity in both directions, so I’m usually attending music and food festivals, exploring a new museum, or catching a football game in my free time. I love to travel and explore new places, so weekend road trips to a new city are always fun. When I’m not out and about, I’m at home with friends and family, who fill my world and my home with music, food, laughter, and a lot of love!

My Home & Pets

I bought my house with the hopes of one day adopting a child to help make it a home. The backyard is huge, and there’s enough room for a basketball hoop, a playhouse, and a swingset; there’s even a slope in the backyard just right for sledding in the wintertime. I can’t wait to teach your child how to make snow forts in the backyard and how to play hopscotch in the driveway. I’m blessed to live in a community where the summertime is filled with kids riding bikes and playing basketball outside and people watching fireworks from their backyards.

My Extended Family

My family is close knit, and we spend as much time together as possible. My parents have been married for 48 years, and I have two older brothers with families of their own. I have a total of ten nieces and nephews, five of which are under the age of eight years old, and they are so much fun! I attend some of their sporting events and afterschool activities and enjoy being a big part of their lives.

My family and I go on an annual vacation to the beach as well as attend annual family reunions. Last year we took the kids to Disney World for a week and had a blast! I can’t wait to introduce your baby to my nieces and nephews, who are excited about the possibility of having a new cousin to play with.

Our favorite family tradition is the family get-together on Christmas Eve. My mom and I spend the day baking sweet potato pies, pound cakes, and pecan pies to enjoy later that day, and we spend the evening eating, playing games, and watching the kids open their Christmas gifts.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have so much love to give and God has blessed me in all aspects of my life, so it was only natural to make the decision to share that love and blessings with a little one. I’ve seen how the miracle of adoption works. My best friend adopted her son at birth, and their bond is undeniable. To know that God has a child in mind for me to love, nurture, and protect is the greatest joy ever.
