dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to begin this letter by expressing our deepest gratitude and admiration for you. We cannot begin to imagine the depth of emotions you may be experiencing right now, but please know that we see your strength, your courage, and your love.
We can only dream of the kind of love that has led you to consider adoption—a love so selfless, so deep, and so unwavering in its desire to give your child the best possible future. No matter what decision you make, please know that you are respected, supported, and never alone.

From the moment we began this journey, we have prayed, hoped, and dreamed of the child who would make our family whole. If we are fortunate enough to be chosen by you, please know that your child will be embraced with unconditional love, endless support, and a home filled with laughter, warmth, and opportunity. We will celebrate their milestones, nurture their dreams, and remind them every day how truly special and loved they are—not just by us, but by you as well.

We believe that adoption is built on love, and that love will always include you. No matter what, your role in their life will always be honored and cherished.

Please know that we are here for you, without judgment and with open hearts. Whatever path you choose, we hold you in our thoughts and respect you deeply.

With love and gratitude,
Aaron and Misty

About Us

Hi, we're Misty and Aaron and we've been together for six amazing years. We actually met through a mutual friend, and things just clicked from the start. Our home is full of love, laughter, and support, and we're really looking forward to growing our little family by welcoming a child.

We both love being outdoors—especially spending time in the beautiful Oregon mountains. Aaron works as an underground gold miner (which always sounds kind of epic), and Misty is an Urgent Care Tech at a local clinic. Personality-wise, we're pretty different—Aaron's more spontaneous and adventurous, while Misty tends to be more thoughtful and careful—but we really balance each other out in the best way.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a quiet mountain area, far from the noise of the city. It’s peaceful here, with the soft sound of a creek nearby adding to the calm vibe. Our place is full of life—two dogs, four cats, and five pigs keep things interesting. The town is small and charming, and our road only has three other houses, all with friendly, family-focused neighbors who help each other out. There’s also a river not too far away that we love visiting with the dogs when it gets hot in the summer.

Our Family & Friends

Between the two of us, we’ve got four siblings who all play an important part in our lives. Misty has two younger sisters who bring a fun, lively energy to the family. Aaron has an older brother and an older sister, who has a bright and spirited teenage daughter. One of Misty’s sisters also has a teenage son and daughter, both figuring things out as they grow up. Her other sister has two sweet little girls who always bring smiles and laughter when we all get together. Our parents are still very involved and super excited about the idea of another little one joining the family. We really value the time we spend together during the holidays—whether it’s with Aaron’s family or Misty’s, those moments bring us all closer and make memories we’ll always cherish.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are genuinely enthusiastic about the prospect of adoption, as we believe that expanding our loving home to include a child would be a profoundly enriching experience. While this is our first foray into the adoption process, we are eager to embark on this journey of finding a child in need of a nurturing family. Currently, we do not have any children, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to provide a warm and supportive environment where we can share our unconditional love.
