Naila & Todd

dear expectant mother

As we sat down to write this letter, we were not sure what to say. We wanted to put into words what is in our hearts. We thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our family. We want to let you know how much we appreciate you and how much being parents means to us and our family. We have been praying to grow our family, and we want nothing more than to become parents. The decision you are considering is amazing and shows true love for your child.

We will love and protect them fiercely and unconditionally, and we vow to provide a safe and nurturing home for them to grow up in. Through the best of times and worst of times we will be by their side guiding them down the correct path, and helping them with any obstacles that lie in the path. We will encourage them as they grow to be the person they want to be and help them accomplish their goals. We will create a fun and safe environment that gives them confidence to try new things by taking chances in life. Above all else, your child will always have unconditional love.

We hope our profile shows what is in our hearts and you’ll consider us for the true blessing of becoming parents.

We want nothing more than to become parents. We will love and protect them fiercely and unconditionally, and we vow to provide a safe and nurturing home for them to grow up in.

About Us

Todd is a system quality control person in the agricultural industry, and Naila is an auditor in the business community. We met while we were in the military and have a loving, caring, and fun 20-year marriage. We were lucky to see the world and enjoy different cultures in various countries. We are an outdoor couple that enjoys hiking, traveling, visiting local and state parks, and meeting up with friends and family members. We are committed to family and take every opportunity to visit with relatives in and out of state. We also like to do indoor activities like board games, video games, and movie nights. Our fur-baby Bruiser is a rescue from our local shelter and has brought so much fun to our family. Bruiser enjoys walks and playing with kids in the neighborhood.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is cozy, and we enjoy having friends and family over for visits. Our house is in an older, well-established part of town with several parks and playgrounds within walking distance. We have state parks just a few minutes’ drive from our community. Our community has many family events during the year. It is a mix of community kids’ days, family nights in the park, concert events, kids’ workshops at the community library, and kids’ activities at our church. We have a large backyard that our dog Bruiser loves to play in, and is enjoyed by the neighbor’s children. In the winter, we enjoy more learning activities and are part of our local STEM group.

Our Extended Family

Naila grew up in a loving military family with her mom, dad, and younger brother. Her family's tradition is rotating the holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving between the extended family. She has 15 cousins and five aunts and uncles who enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas fun, games, and meals. The favorite tradition with the other family members is Secret Santa during Christmas. Her grandparents cook on Christmas morning and make everyone a cornbread dessert before unwrapping gifts.

Todd grew up in a single-parent home with his mother and brother. His sister moved out of state to attend college when he was five years old, but she would visit during the summer and Christmas. Thanksgiving and Christmas had a special focus of giving to others. They would cook meals during those weeks and give them to elderly people in their community and at church. The other holidays during the year were community events where everyone gathered with food and mingled with our neighbors.

Our family tradition now is to rotate who hosts the big holidays so the extended family can visit with everyone. For birthdays, special events, and other holidays, we do local gatherings and parties with our community and church family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are blessed to be foster parents and we have seen how children can grow in a loving family atmosphere. We became foster parents after years of trying to have children of our own. We dream of adopting a child to make that child a part of our family. We believe adoption is the best way for us to grow as a family. Having an opportunity to create a relationship with the mother, caring for the child, and provide for a child would be a blessing. Giving us the opportunity to take this path with you would bring so much happiness and fulfillment.
