dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We want to say first that we are so grateful to be seen as an option to raise your baby. We have felt sorrow in our infertility and now have the most excitement and eagerness at the idea of being able to be parents. We both come from big families and look forward to the joys of filling our home with little ones.

Please know we have dedicated so much time, effort, and funds to provide your baby with every type of support and love possible. We have matured in our marriage to be patient, curious, and empathetic parents-to-be in order to raise a child to have self-confidence, joy, and the absolute assurance that they are loved, supported, and cherished as the independent souls they are. Our extended families are thrilled at the idea of having another little soul to love and dote upon, and we have the means to ensure that your baby will have access to resources to become an independent and successful adult. We promise to go on fun vacations, have endless cuddles, and connect as a family to all types of communities and cultures. We believe in openness in adoption and look forward to welcoming you into our lives.

Love,
Tara and Nathan

We believe in openness in adoption and look forward to welcoming you into our lives.

About Us

We are a fun-loving couple who are into art, fitness, rock climbing, and spending time with family. We love to get creative and paint, photograph, hike, and explore national parks. We love to hit the gym as well as go rock climbing at nearby mountain ranges. We have a lot of family support around us and frequently meet up with adult siblings to spend time together with all the generations. We also are strong in our faith and participate weekly with our church community. We live in a comfortable home with our two sweet dogs and enjoy a suburban lifestyle. We have a lot of goals in life and are hopeful to accomplish a lot. We have no children yet and are so excited to expand our family through adoption!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a suburb of North Carolina, close to the capital city. Our town is regularly recognized for its comfort, safety, and fun. Nearby is an expansive and modern park complex with play structures and multiple spaces to engage in outside fun as a family. The schools in our county are considered high-ranking, and nearby high schools all have a graduation rate of over 95%. We are equally a few hours to both the mountains and the beach and can easily make fun trips for vacations to either. Our comfortable two-story home has multiple bedrooms waiting to be filled, and we have two lovable mid-sized dogs (Danny and Kima) who enjoy snoozing and trips to the park for fetch and fun.

Our Extended Family

Tara is one of six children and currently has 16 nieces and nephews of all ages from her brothers and their wives. Much of her family lives in the same local area, and the others are only a few hours away. Tara’s parents prioritize big family events, and all the cousins have many opportunities a year to spend time together for fun and bonding. Every two years is a special family reunion that highlights connection, fun, and relaxation.

Nathan is the oldest of five children and is starting to collect nieces and nephews as well. His family lives close to our home, and we often spend time together. His family is all athletic and fun-loving and prefer to get outdoors to spend time together. His family is close knit and often shares advice and guidance.

What Led Us To Adoption

Tara was born with MRKH, a condition where the uterus is not able to connect to other organs, and is therefore unable to carry a pregnancy. We have not yet adopted a child but hope to expand our family with multiple children in the coming years. We are stable financially and have found good careers that are flexible and supportive. We love children and spend a lot of time with nieces and nephews, and we are eager to become parents. Nathan’s grandparents adopted a child decades ago and have described a number of times how much that child brought joy and completion to their family.
