Having a child has always been our dream, but we never thought it would be possible. After several IVF attempts and traditional methods that didn’t work for us, we knew the path meant for us to grow our family was adoption. We are so happy to be here! We are Adriane and Parker. We met in early 2011. Parker jokingly commented to his friends that he would meet his wife that night.Talk about speaking things into existence! Throughout our marriage, we have each lost a parent, Adriane’s father and Parker’s mother. We survived cancer, a miscarriage, and moving to a new state. Our love has never wavered and has grown stronger by the day. Parker is high spirited and has a great sense of humor. He loves playing and has a ton of hobbies. Adriane loves to read, cook, and spend time making our house a home. Our three-bedroom, 2-½-bathroom, two-story home has a big, beautiful yard. It’s waiting for a child to fill it with laughter. We can’t wait to teach our child to read, ride a bike, and cook.
Our warm and welcoming home has a spacious yard just waiting for us to have fun adventures with a child; there’s so much room to run and play, huge trees to swing on, and garden beds to plant and farm. There is a community center and a big park within walking distance. Our neighborhood is filled with kids to play with who would love a new friend. We have a rescue cat named Lady; she’s lovable and friendly. She loves all people and loves to play with toys.
We’re both very close with our families. We spend holidays and special occasions with them. We also have a family reunion every two years. We love our families very much and couldn’t imagine life without them. We call them every week, sometimes daily. They are all very excited about us starting our adoption journey and growing our family. They can’t wait for a new little one to love and support.
We lost Parker's mother early this year and could think of no better way to carry on her legacy. We always wanted kids together, and after several unsuccessful attempts at IVF, we started looking into adoption to complete our family. We have raised five non-biological children. We have 16 beautiful grandchildren we love and adore. We always wanted to raise more children. We have so much love to share and countless lessons to teach.
