We are Archana and Prasad, a married couple filled with love and longing to become parents. Our journey to parenthood has been one of faith and patience, and we are overjoyed to walk this path through adoption. We were both born and raised in India, surrounded by family, tradition, and warmth. Those values continue to shape our lives today. Archana’s family — her parents and two sisters — live just a few miles apart, and weekends often mean big family dinners, laughter, and lively celebrations of festivals. Prasad is gentle, thoughtful, and lights up around children. Time with our nieces and nephews has only strengthened our dream of raising a child in a home filled with love, laughter, and belonging.

Archana describes Prasad as calm, thoughtful, and deeply caring. He’s an introvert with a gentle heart — patient, observant, and kind. Around children, he comes alive with laughter and warmth. His steady nature brings peace to every situation, and his quiet strength is one of the many reasons she fell in love with him.

Prasad says Archana is the sunshine in every room she walks into. She’s warm, nurturing, and full of life — someone who finds joy in the smallest things. Her love for family, her compassion for others, and her ability to make everyone feel cared for are qualities that make her an incredible partner and will make her an amazing mother.

Together, we balance each other beautifully — Archana brings vibrance and energy, while Prasad brings calm and steadiness. We share a deep respect for one another and a shared dream of raising a child surrounded by love, laughter, and understanding.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Our home is filled with warmth, soft light, and the comforting aroma of homemade food. We live in a peaceful neighborhood in Texas, surrounded by friendly neighbors, parks, and families who share simple joys—morning walks, children playing, weekend picnics. The schools nearby are nurturing and diverse, celebrating every culture and dream. Our home itself is our sanctuary—where laughter echoes, festivals bring color, and love lingers in every corner. We often imagine the sound of little feet running across the living room, giggles filling the air, and cozy bedtime cuddles ending each day. It’s a home waiting for the heartbeat of a child—a home built not of walls, but of love.

Our Family & Friends

Family is the heart of who we are. Archana grew up in a loving, close-knit family where everyone lives within a few miles of one another. Her parents and sisters are deeply involved in each other’s lives — from celebrating Diwali and birthdays to gathering every weekend for home-cooked meals and laughter-filled afternoons. It’s a family where everyone looks out for one another, and the three little nieces and nephews are always the center of attention.

Prasad’s family shares those same strong values of love, respect, and unity. Though some relatives live in India, the bonds remain strong through daily calls, video chats, and shared traditions. Our extended families are overjoyed at the idea of us becoming parents and can’t wait to welcome a new baby with open arms.

We’re also lucky to have a wonderful circle of friends who have become family here in Texas. They are kind, supportive, and always ready to lend a hand. Together, we share meals, explore new places, and celebrate milestones — big and small. Our future child will grow up surrounded by people who will love and encourage them unconditionally.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption, to us, represents love in its purest form — love that builds families, connects hearts, and creates lifelong bonds. Though we haven’t experienced adoption personally before, it has always felt like a path that aligns deeply with our values of compassion, inclusivity, and unconditional love.

When we began learning about adoption, it felt natural and right for us. We were drawn to the openness, honesty, and shared love that adoption brings between families. We believe that every child’s story begins with immense courage and that as adoptive parents, it’s our responsibility to honor that story with truth and reverence.

We look forward to creating an open, respectful relationship built on trust, where our child always knows their beginnings and the strength of the woman whose love made our family possible.
