dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mom,

Thank you so much for considering us for this incredible gift. We know this decision is not easy for you, but we truly thank you. We are extremely proud of you and this selfless act of courage. We can only imagine how scary and difficult this time must be for you, but we will be there for you along every step of this amazing journey. If you choose us, your baby will be coming into a very loving home, where they will feel valued, heard, seen, and, most of all, loved every single day.

Although we have yet to meet in person, we look forward to creating a relationship with you on whatever level you feel comfortable. We will do everything we can to ensure your baby’s every need is met by providing a stable and loving household. We will make sure they have the best educational opportunities and that they are always safe from harm.

We can’t even express to you the amount of gratitude we have for you. We hope you know we are grateful for your consideration. We hope that wherever your journey takes you, you will be at ease knowing your baby is safe, loved, and supported.

Warmly,
Quan & Kevin

About Us

Quan is a high school dance teacher, and Kelvin is a medical director. Our daughter, Harper, is in kindergarten. We love to travel, cook, and play games together as a family. It’s so much fun when we can all get in the kitchen together or visit some new place we have never been to. We are both very laid-back, easygoing people and we both crave knowledge. You can usually find Kelvin reading, learning a new language, or playing with Harper. You can find Quan creating choreography, snapping pictures, or joining in on the family fun. As a family, we sit down together to plan our summer vacations. We want to include our children in that process and to visit places we have never been before so we can explore those places as a family, having fun but also making it educational for our children.

Our Home & Pets

We currently live in a four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom brick house in a quiet neighborhood. Our neighbors are all very nice, and we have a diverse community that feels like family. We have a huge backyard that has plenty of space to run around in. The school district is very good, and Quan also teaches in the same school district. We love our home because it’s in a quiet neighborhood that is great for nightly walks. We have a four-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix named Lola. She is very low key and loves kids.

Our Extended Family

Both of our families are super excited about this journey. They were so supportive during the first adoption and intend to do the same this time. Quan has one brother and a niece and nephew. Kelvin has one brother.

One of the many things we like doing is spending time with our families. We usually go to visit Kelvin’s family for Thanksgiving, and we do Christmas with Quan’s family. It’s been amazing for us to see how warm and accepting our families have been, and they love our daughter to the moon and back. They are all ready to share that love with another baby as well.

Our Adoption Story

We are so excited about the possibility of adding another member to our fun, loving family. Our adoption journey with our daughter was a great journey. When we connected with her birthmother, it was an amazing experience, and we knew this was the one. As a couple, adoption was one of the first things discussed, and we knew we would eventually want to grow our family. We feel like now is the time to do that, and we have so much love to give.
