dear expectant mother

First off, we cannot express enough how grateful we are for you. Thank you so much for taking the time to look over our profile. We cannot begin to imagine what you are going through while making this big decision for your baby. We know this is not a decision to take lightly on either end of this process, and we want to be there with you every step of the way.

If you do decide we are the family for your baby, please know they will be joining a family full of love, laughter, fun, and support in whatever they want to do in this life. They will always be surrounded by an incredible support team of family and friends throughout their entire life. We will always make sure they know they are extra loved by both their adoptive parents and their birth parents.

We would love to start this journey with you and get to know you along the way so your baby always knows they came from such a brave and amazing person. Most importantly, we want you to be comfortable and confident in us if you do decide to choose our family. If you choose us, your baby will be the answer to so many of our prayers, and we promise never to take this honor for granted.

Thank you so much again for checking us out.

If you choose us, your baby will be the answer to so many of our prayers, and we promise never to take this honor for granted.

About Us

We are Rachel and Austin! We have been married for almost three years and together for ten years. We met in high school when Austin moved from Indiana to Georgia and have been together ever since. We both graduated from the same university. Rachel is a labor and delivery nurse at our local hospital, and Austin is a building inspector for our closest city. Both of our jobs are very flexible, and in our free time, we enjoy hanging out with our pets, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and taking lake trips on our ski boat. Rachel loves shopping, crafting with her cricut, and doing projects around the house. She also tends to go overboard with decorating the house for the holidays. Austin enjoys being outdoors in the fall, cooking for family and friends, and lending a helping hand on Rachel’s many house projects.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house in a neighborhood full of families and located on the same street as the local schools. Our back porch has a gazebo for the warm summers and also has a firepit and grill for hosting fall cookouts. We have a fenced-in backyard that has plenty of room for our three dogs (Wrigley, P.J., and Rosie) to play. Inside, we have a cozy living room where we love to watch our favorite movies and sports games and cuddle with not only our dogs but our two cats (Luna and Smalls). It is an awesome house full of love and sweet pets, and we plan on staying here for a long time.

Our Extended Family

Family has always been very important in our lives.

Austin grew up with his parents, younger sister, and younger brother. He also is very close with his aunt and grandparents. His family lives throughout the southeast part of the country, which makes it easier to meet for our annual Christmas celebrations together. Austin’s younger brother also goes to college nearby, and we love when he makes visits from time to time.

Rachel grew up with her parents and younger sister. Rachel’s parents live about 15 minutes from our house, so we spend many evenings enjoying cookouts and competitive family game nights with them. She comes from a very large extended family on both her father and mother’s side, which means many large family gatherings. Rachel’s mom always cooks Christmas dinner at her house every year, which is one of our favorite things we do together.

Both of our families were EXTREMELY excited when we told them we were going to adopt. This will be the first grandchild for both sets of parents, so know that if we welcome your baby into our home, not only will they be incredibly loved but also spoiled.

What Led Us To Adoption

We both always knew we wanted to be parents and have discussed future name ideas for as long as we can remember. We started trying to have a baby about a year after we got married, which unfortunately led to two years of waiting and a miscarriage. After many prayers and conversations, we came to the conclusion that maybe God was pointing us in a different direction to start our family. We knew simply becoming parents is all that matters to us, and if that meant our child was destined to come from the adoption process, then we were on board. We are so excited to start this journey!
