Rachel & Seth

Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: Pennsylvania

dear expectant mother

Although we haven’t met, please know we’ve been waiting for you for a lifetime. We can’t imagine how hard it’s been to make this decision, but we hope to support you at any level you’re comfortable with throughout your journey.

First and foremost, we’re beyond excited to start our lives as parents; we’ve waited a long time to earn the title and can’t wait to see what experiences follow. We want to build a life and home where a child can thrive and grow in their environment. We want to establish a home where a child can be free to express their personality and passion. We know firsthand how amazing the adoption process can be. Seth was adopted when he was just minutes old, after his parents struggled to conceive. Rachel’s sister and her husband adopted their daughter when she was just hours old, after struggling for years to carry a child.

Should you choose us, your child will always know the love you have and how selfless you are. We’ll always be grateful to you for making us parents. We promise to love and support your child unconditionally every day and will ensure they want for nothing.
We’re grateful you have so much love for your child and that you’re considering an adoption plan that will hopefully include us. We'd be honored to be a part of your story and be by your side.

About Us

We have known each other since we were 11 years old. Through a series of life events, we reconnected six years ago. Rachel always said she would marry Seth one day. We are two kids at heart who love to have fun and explore new places and things but know how to slow things down when we need to. We both love music and all the different genres of it. During our free time, Seth loves to play video games or explore by the river, and Rachel loves to work on her business. We look forward to having downtime to not only do what we love but just enjoy being with each other. We both love our careers and the flexibility and freedom that come with them. We both hold positions that allow us to work from home when needed.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a townhouse about 45 minutes from the city. We’re able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the suburbs, but the city is not far away. We love to go to the small shopping areas, especially during the holidays. We have an amazing support system of friends who live in our development who have become like family. The school district we live in is a sought-after district when people are looking to purchase homes. We can’t talk about our home without mentioning our puppy, Rascal. He was adopted in 2016 when he was approximately eight months old. Knowing we have been able to give him an amazing life and seeing his tail wag when we pull up or walk in the door makes our day.

Our Extended Family

When it comes to our families, we both have several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Most of our family members are very local, with a handful scattered throughout different states. Rachel has an older sister, who is married with a four-year-old daughter (who is adopted). They live locally and always host family gatherings since they have the largest backyard. Her parents live within a half hour, which she loves. Especially as they get older, she likes having them close. It is also great that all the family is within such a short distance because of all of the support we receive.

Seth is an only child whose father passed away about six years ago. His mom has since moved back to PA to be close. Although we were both raised Jewish (we met in Hebrew school), we consider ourselves much more traditional than anything. We love partaking in the traditions that our families started (Thanksgiving dinner, singing Happy Birthday over the phone, and birthdays). We also love starting our own traditions as a couple (Fourth of July BBQ with the neighbors and Christmas Day in our pajamas while making Rachel’s grandmother’s gravy).

What Led Us To Adoption

In late 2020, after not being able to conceive naturally, we decided to seek out some help. We started seeing a local fertility specialist in hopes that our dreams of having a child would just need a little medical assistance. After some time and discussion, we decided adoption would be our next step. Seth is adopted, and our niece is adopted. We have seen how amazing it can be to go through the process, and ultimately, we knew it was the right decision for us.
