About Us

We're a loving, adventurous couple excited to grow our family through adoption. Randy is a retired military veteran now working as a senior human resources consultant, and Chad is an aerospace engineer who also works in consulting as a systems engineer. We both enjoy exploring new experiences—whether it's traveling to exciting destinations or discovering the latest local restaurants. At home, we love spending quiet evenings watching reruns of Modern Family, playing classic video games, or hosting board-game nights with friends. Chad has a passion for roller coasters, classical music, and running, while Randy enjoys cooking, home projects, and gardening. Our personalities balance each other through Randy's warmth and creativity and Chad's curiosity and sense of adventure. Together, we've built a life rooted in love, laughter, and stability, and we're ready to share that with a child. We look forward to creating a home where they'll always feel safe, loved, and supported to be exactly who they are.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Our home is a warm three-story colonial in a welcoming neighborhood filled with long-time residents and a great mix of young families. We're fortunate to be part of a community where everyone is invited to everything—from casual lawn hangouts with cornhole games to birthday parties. Our neighborhood is within walking distance of the county's top-rated elementary and high schools, making it perfect for families. We're also just a short drive from Washington, D.C., offering endless opportunities for entertainment, history, and culture. We're also proud pet parents to two rescue dogs, Gracie (9) and Luna (4), who fill our home with love and joy.

Our Family & Friends

Our extended family is a big part of our lives and brings us so much joy. Our parents are retired and enjoy an active lifestyle, spending part of the year in Florida and the rest up north. We see them often and love our regular family vacations together. We both have close relationships with our siblings and make it a point to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and milestones with our nieces and nephews. Our large network of cousins is spread across the country, but we stay connected through group chats and try to visit during special occasions like weddings or whenever travel takes us nearby. Family means a lot to us, and we're grateful for the love and support that surrounds us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We've always dreamed of becoming parents, and adoption has long been part of that vision. From early in our relationship, we knew adoption would be a meaningful way to grow our family. Now that Randy has retired from the military, we feel ready to adopt because we will be able to provide a stable, permanent home without having to worry about moving every few years. Adoption holds a special place in our hearts, especially for Randy, whose grandparents fostered and adopted dozens of children over the years. Their love and dedication left a lasting impression and helped shape his belief in the power of family built through love and commitment. We're excited and honored to open our home and hearts, and we can't wait to share our lives with a child.
