dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for reading our story. We know you are living your own story right now. We cannot imagine your journey but are grateful that you are considering our home for your baby. This decision is a most gracious and courageous one. Hopefully you have many great families to choose from to ensure your child has the best opportunities. Very likely you have many questions for the families. While we can’t speak for others, we can wholeheartedly tell you this: If you entrust us with your child, your baby will be kept safe and abundantly loved—by you, by us, and by our extended family. Your little one will know they were adopted, and that you loved them so much, you chose to gift them the best life possible.

After ten years of trying to become parents, our journey brings us here…writing to you. It has been a long, painful road, but despite the pain, our resolve to be parents has not faltered. We have faith that everything happens for a reason, and that brings us comfort. Your baby is a precious miracle and would be our dream come true.

Choosing adoption must be one of the greatest acts of love a person can make. We admire your courage and are grateful for you. Thank you for considering us to become parents to your sweet child. Regardless of your choice, we wish you and your baby the best. Blessings to you both.

Warmest wishes,
Robert and Aimee

About Us

Howdy and hugs from Aimee and Robert in the sunny southwest! After connecting on Match.com 15 years ago, we met at a coffee shop and immediately clicked. Aimee integrated her talents in theater, opera, and her love of children into a career as an elementary school teacher. The rich experiences and relationships developed with her students inspired Aimee on her present career path in counseling - with a focus on trauma and grief. Robert served honorably in the Air Force before flying into the private sector where he now works as a Senior Project Manager for an international Pharmaceutical Company. Together, we are lifelong learners who enjoy spending time with family and friends, experiencing different cultures, and exploring new places. We are grateful and excited for the opportunity to be parents.

Our Home & Pets

We live on the outskirts of a southwestern city where our neighborhood meets horse ranches, and the peaks of mountains loom large. People worldwide visit our city to hike, bike, bird, and sightsee. Our spacious home is nestled within a safe and quiet family-oriented community. Many neighborhood children attend the A rated school district nearby. There is also a bike path and a playground just minutes from our home. We live in a desert, but our fenced backyard is like an oasis with lush grass and a variety of shade trees and rose bushes. Inside the house, our two affectionate cats play with their plush toy mouse, beg us for treats, and sleep lazily anywhere the sunlight meets the carpet. We all look forward to sharing our home with a child.

Our Extended Family

If you honor us with the gift of adopting your child, he or she will be warmly embraced by our large family. Immediately, they will be treasured by their loving grandmother, who lives merely 10 minutes away from us. She can’t wait to meet her new grandbaby! Though our family stretches across the vast expanse of the United States, we make it a point to gather as often as we can. We love to host family and holiday events. At these events, your child would find themselves surrounded by love, laughter, food, games, and tradition. We cherish our family.

During the summer, your child would enjoy sand, surf, and sun during our annual California vacations to visit his or her grandfather, aunt and uncle, and cousins. When they are old enough, we will take them to Disneyland! Some Christmases, we would take your child to Michigan for a winter wonderland excursion. He or she would meet her other wonderful grandmother, grandfather, all 18 aunts and uncles, and their many cousins.

What Led Us To Adoption

We assumed that kids magically come after marriage. We were wrong. We crossed day after day off each month, tore month after month out of each year, and realized five years had passed. Something was wrong. In 2017, we made a resolution to fix it. Full of youthful optimism and faith in technology, we endured five years of painful infertility treatments that produced many shattered hopes and only one pregnancy that ended in miscarriage. Shortly thereafter, we investigated our options. We now recognize adoption is our best chance for a baby. We are excited about loving, nurturing, and raising a precious child and encouraging them to be the best they can be.
