Dear Expectant Mother

We don't know you, but we know only someone brave and selfless could consider an adoption plan. We want to let you know we acknowledge that your selflessness could lead to our overwhelming joy.

We cannot wait to be parents, and we want you to know we will do everything in our power to love, provide for, and nurture our new family member every day of their life. Everything that has happened in our lives has led us to this point and put us on this path—the path that leads us to our future child and the completion of our family. They will be exposed to different cultures, be taught silly songs, play outside, and bring us so much joy. We are blessed, and we want to share those blessings with a child whom we believe with our whole hearts will enrich our lives beyond what we can even fathom. Thank you for considering our loving family.

About Us

We met the first day Maria moved to Ohio for residency eight years ago. We established an instant friendship and a bond that grew into an amazing love. Ross is the most patient, loving man. There is not a person, animal, or child who isn't instantly attached. Maria is the most caring, selfless, driven person. She cares for everyone around her and is often one’s first call when in need. It’s easy to be in constant amazement of her. We love hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, and nights around the campfire together and can’t wait to share our love for the outdoors with a child. We believe to be successful you must work in the service of others, and as an ER doctor and real estate developer, we believe we have found that path. We are a great team and will provide a loving, fun, adventurous life for a child.

Our Home & Pets

We love our home! Our open layout is sunny and great for entertaining. Our favorite part is the sunroom with floor-to-ceiling plants and windows all facing a bird sanctuary. It's so peaceful in the mornings. When our bird feeders are full, we love watching the birds. We were blessed to have moved to this neighborhood where we have made our neighbors into family. We have supported each other through many difficult times recently. It's filled with young families and tons of children as well as Maria’s parents and sister’s family. Our pets, Kali and Apollo, are the sweetest dogs. We have watched them with our young niece and nephew and cannot wait to see the bond they create with our new family member.

Our Extended Family

Our families are so excited about our decision to adopt. They have already filled a closet full of gifts. Maria’s sisters are fighting over who will be the favorite aunt. This child will be loved by so many.

We are in a unique living situation where we have a dozen family members just a stone's throw away. We are a family that loves to cook and have dinner together, and there is often a dance party that erupts while cooking. We are always playing board or outdoor games that have turned into yearly rivalries.

We each have a holiday we have at our homes. Christmas Eve at Grandma’s house always includes too much food, playing handheld instruments from Puerto Rico, and singing the worst rendition of “The Twelve Days of Christmas” you can imagine. Our favorite tradition is the appearance of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The last three years we have been able to share this tradition with the entire neighborhood. We love hosting Thanksgiving—all of the love, food, and bocci without any focus on gifts. Ross’s side of the family does not live locally, but we get to see them at least a couple times a year.

What Led Us To Adoption

We had a late but hopeful start in building a family but were unsuccessful. We do not regret waiting until we found who we wanted to raise a baby with, and we expected there would be obstacles. Infertility was painful for us, but it did not stop us from wanting a child. After many conversations with fertility specialists, we decided we wanted to have a child already making their way to the world.
