dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are forever grateful for your strength during this process. We know this is not an easy decision for you. We want you to know we feel you are truly an amazing woman for contemplating such a selfless choice for your baby. We will support you along the way.

If you choose us, your child will be unconditionally loved. We will give your child all the love, attention, support, and experiences we can provide. We have always wanted to be parents, and we will be forever grateful to you for allowing us this opportunity. One thing we have is a very large support system. All of our family and closest friends cannot wait to meet your baby and help us to raise them. Your child will be overwhelmingly loved in our close-knit circle. Our friends have already expressed interest in being “faunts and funcles,” the fun aunts and uncles! Your child will have a diverse group of family and friends to help them through any situation. We know we can provide your child with all the love and support they will need.

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We are excited for the opportunity to get to know you better, and we look forward to connecting with you.

With love,
Samantha and Taylor

We want you to know we feel you are truly an amazing woman for contemplating such a selfless choice for your baby. We will support you along the way.

About Us

Hello! We are Samantha and Taylor. We have been a couple for fifteen years and married for two. We spend most of our time outside of work doing things together, like dinner dates, cooking, traveling, going to festivals and sporting events. Samantha is big hearted, caring, and compassionate,Taylor is strong, dedicated, and passionate about college football. We feel having these personality traits creates an ideal relationship that is filled with commitment, laughter, and love.

Samantha is a teacher who has experience with early childhood and social work and is an advocate for young children with disabilities and behaviors. Taylor works as a business manager, she is hardworking and enjoys doing house projects outside. We have truly found our soul mate as we feel we work very well together. In our relationship, we do not have roles; we work together to complete all tasks as a single unit.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small neighborhood development in the Northeast U.S. We are very close with our neighbors, and we have bi-weekly bonfires in the fall. Our neighborhood has plenty of children, and we live about one mile from the local elementary school. We also have the community park down the hill behind our house to participate in community events and use the park playground. We are located just out of the major city limits, where we can experience culture, art shows, and festivals. We have two cats and one dog. Our cats are 15 years old, and we rescued them when we were dating to keep us company when we were apart during college. Our animals love children and have enjoyed their visits from our nieces and nephews.

Our Extended Family

We are very close to our families, and we both are the glue that holds the families together. We value family dynamics.

Samantha is the youngest of three sisters. She is very close with her two parents. She has two nephews and two nieces. They all live within 40 minutes of each other. She is also close with her aunts, uncles, and cousins. They do big family gatherings for all the major holidays. Once every two months the whole family gathers on Sundays for family dinner.

Taylor is also the youngest of three sisters. Her parents live within five minutes of us. Her sisters both live about 8 hours away, but we still gather often. She has three nephews and one niece. We host Thanksgiving every year at our house, and we travel to their house for Christmas. Taylor’s nieces and nephews come to visit every summer and spend about a month with us.

We also have very close friendships where we are godparents to our friends’ children. We love having fall bonfires and summer pool parties that are all kid friendly. We have started a new tradition to take family friend trips once a year. Some of our friendships have lasted over 30 years.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been wanting to be moms for a very long time. We used to discuss having a family when we first met, and it always felt like a fantasy or a dream. We honestly never thought we would have the opportunity to grow our family. We have had multiple miscarriages and we feel that experience has led us to the path of adoption. Somehow, in our hearts, we have always known adoption was something we would explore. We have friends who have adopted, and they had a very positive experience. We also both have childhood friends who were adopted. We enjoyed their stories and being on their adoption journeys with them. We can’t wait to begin this new adventure in expanding our family.
