dear expectant mother

We can’t imagine the thoughts, feelings, and everything you must be experiencing right now. We are awed by the strength and love you have for your baby. This is perhaps the most challenging decision you are facing in your life. We are here to support you and your baby every step along the way. In choosing us, your child will grow up knowing how much you love them and that your every thought is for their wellbeing. You will be spoken and thought of with warmth and gratitude.

Even before the first moments with us, your baby will have our unconditional love. Your baby will grow up with opportunities to try new experiences and travel. We will encourage their growth, development, creativity, and kindness.

We understand the decisions you are making are beyond difficult. We are excited and grateful you are considering us as you journey down this path. We hope to show your baby a beautiful life. Most of all, we want your baby to know they were, are, and will forever be loved.

With love and gratitude,
Stephanie & Sara

We hope to show your baby a beautiful life. Most of all, we want your baby to know they were, currently are, and will forever be loved.

About Us

Stephanie is a wound nurse, and Sara works in Neuro ICU. We met five years ago through a mutual friend. We were taken with each other from the first date. Neither of us was looking for a girlfriend, but we each found what we didn’t know was missing in our lives and married six months later. We’re an outgoing couple and enjoy trying all types of new things. We enjoy the beach, traveling, hiking, video games, theater, and experiencing different cultures. We love spending time with our family, friends, and furbabies. We are a great team and complement each other. We greatly enjoyed working together when picking out each feature of our dream home, which was built in April 2019. In June of 2021, we gained a foster daughter, who we are in the process of adopting. She is thirteen years old and the light of our lives!

Our Home & Pets

Our home is in a beautiful new subdivision. We have four bedrooms and two baths. It’s a lovely open concept with a fireplace, covered back porch, and hot tub. We are surrounded by miles of biking/walking trails and parks. It is only minutes to the new park from our home by the trail. Our school district is top in our state, from elementary through high school. We have access to cultural and community events as well as support in our city and the neighboring city. We enjoy spending time with our loving dogs and cats. Our newest addition is our foster daughter’s kitty named Asher.

Our Extended Family

We have extended family in our area, and we see them often. Stephanie’s parents live 40 minutes from our home, and Sara’s grandmother and aunt live an hour away. Sara’s grandmother will be 92 in November! She is very active and a part of our daily lives. Stephanie’s brother and brother-in-law are stationed in Alaska, and they come to visit two to three times per year.

We go shopping and out to dinner, stay in doing puzzles and games, and enjoy outdoor activities together. Each Christmas, we get together and make and decorate sugar cookies, play various games, and treasure our time together. We gather for birthdays and special occasions. Our family is excited to welcome a baby into our family with all its traditions and to make new ones.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are excited to add to our family and have been preparing for the past four years. We each knew we wanted to be a mother. After marrying, the desire grew stronger for us. Stephanie has wanted to adopt since she was very young. One of Sara’s coworkers, who had been adopted as a baby, used to share his stories with her. His stories were an important part in Sara wanting to adopt. We both feel adoption is the right choice for us. We are looking forward to welcoming a baby and surrounding them with love.
