Family Type: Heterosexual Couple
State We live in: Ohio

dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us. We cannot imagine the emotions and strength involved in the decision you are facing, and we deeply admire your courage and love for your baby. We want you to know that, no matter what you choose, we hold you in the highest respect.

If chosen, we promise your child will grow up in a home filled with love, stability, and joy. We will make sure they always know about you and the loving decision you made for them. Your story and your love will be an important part of their life.
We are already parents through adoption and know firsthand how beautiful, meaningful, and life-changing this journey is. Our home is full of laughter, bedtime stories, family dinners, and plenty of adventures big and small. We love spending time together—whether we’re cooking, exploring parks, or simply enjoying books together at home. Our extended family and friends are excited to welcome another child with open arms and hearts.

We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where your child can grow, learn, and thrive. We will encourage them to follow their dreams, support them in their challenges, and celebrate their unique gifts. Most importantly, we will love them unconditionally, every single day.

We are comfortable with whatever amount of openness feels right for you and are grateful for the opportunity to share our lives with you.

Our Lifestyle

Our daily life is full of togetherness, routines, and fun. We start every morning with breakfast as a family and often end the day with stories, music, and our bedtime routine: bath, teeth brushing, and plenty of hugs. During the day, we love exploring. That might be a trip to the zoo, the children’s museum, a local park, or taking a walk in the neighborhood. We read books, build with Duplo, play piano, and cook meals together.

Weekends we spend with friends, family, and our synagogue community. Shabbat dinners, family reunions, and visits with friends are traditions we cherish and look forward to passing on. We also enjoy traveling, especially when it means visiting loved ones.

We live in a safe neighborhood filled with children who play together and with plenty of nature around us.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a neighborhood that has a great mix of people from different backgrounds, different races, and having different amounts of money. What they all have in common is a wish to be a part of a neighborhood where people care about each other. It's a walkable neighborhood with a lot of parks and green spaces that are used by all of the families and children in the neighborhood.

Our Family & Friends

We have a good group of friends and family who surround and support us. They are involved in our lives every day and have helped us raise our children. We have been blessed to have a community that includes people of all races, religions, and opinions. Our community will be there to make sure your child is loved.

What We Love About Each Other

(About Shelly – by Em)
Shelly is a pediatric nurse who cares for babies and children in the ICU. She is one of the most dedicated people I know—persistent, graceful, and full of heart. What I love most is how she shows up for the people she loves. Whether it’s family, friends, or a child in her care, Shelly is the one making sure everyone feels safe, supported, and deeply loved. She brings laughter and warmth to our home every day.

(About Em – by Shelly)
I knew Em would be a wonderful father when he learned to braid hair by practicing on a Barbie Styling Head. He’s playful, thoughtful, and curious—always ready to read a story, try something new, or help a friend in need.
